We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Excellent flats, very few in the Jewellery quarter are of this size especially on the top floor. Busy road but aluminium windows and doors mean you hear next to nothing. Our flat is over 1000sq ft and value for money wise there is nowhere else in the JQ which comes close.

The development itself is ageing quite badly and a lot of the appliances that Charles Church put inside the flats, you can tell, were cheap and poor quality. The parking was great at the development but the gate a total nightmare - always breaks down and takes the management company so long to fix! I have had no issues renting out the flat and so far the tenants have stayed for a good length of time.

Excellent value for money and with the apartments been a gated development all parking spaces are secure which is a must in a city like Birmingham and i have never had any issues. Friendly local businesses all around the Quarter also which enabled me to settle in with minimal fuss.

I bought this flat directly off the developer, in fact it was the show flat & got a great deal on all the furniture as well; friends thought I had become an interior designer overnight! As a first flat, it was pretty cool - I have subsequently sold it, but I really enjoyed living here. Located in the Jewellery Quarter it meant very easy access into Birmingham city centre, Broad Street & Brindley Place, but also felt quiet enough to be relaxing... except for when the students would party on random weekday evenings! The walls were paper thin & thankfully my neighbours were not students. Access to the bins & the post boxes was very annoying - the pedestrian access was obviously on the ground floor & my parking space was on -1, but the bins & post boxes were on -2, which meant you had to make a conscious effort to check your post box or trek down in the lift to take the bins out & come back up in the lift. There were also numerous issues with the sliding vehicle gate into the development which continually broke - on more than one occasion, I had to wait over 2 hours to leave in the morning. These things happen but the management company never apologised or even let you know the issue had been fixed. I also had a bust up with the management company over a leaking pipe from the flat above me - the owners above refused to accept responsibility for the damage caused to my flat & the management company also refused to get involved saying that I should speak directly with the owners of the flat above - not my responsibility! The management company did eventually sort it out when I proposed deducting the cost of repairing the damage from the next 3 year's service charges! The flat itself was well appointed and very comfortable. The fitted washing machine did break after about 4 years, just after the warranty expired, but apart from that it served me very well.

The flat is nice, spacious, homely, quiet. It is very comfortable. We have a big balcony with table and chairs, which is our favourite part of the apartment. The apartment is fully furnished. Great
