Living at Platform Cardiff has been a great experience overall. The location is ideal, with a range of local shops, restaurants, and bars all within easy walking distance. The quality and variety are impressive, especially for dining options, making it easy to enjoy a night out without going far. Transport is incredibly convenient, with train and bus stations nearby, which makes commuting a breeze.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven’t experienced any major issues, and any minor concerns we had were resolved immediately. The management is proactive with regular maintenance and repairs throughout the building—covering essentials like windows, locks, lights, and boilers—and always keeps us informed ahead of time via email. Their attention to detail and responsiveness have made living here worry-free and very comfortable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is just how much of a difference good management can make. Their attentiveness creates a stress-free living environment, and the social events they organise really help you connect with others. This has been invaluable in easing the transition to a new city. It’s a fantastic way to meet people and build a sense of community right from the start!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's brilliant being so close to the city centre and next to the train station and having the onsite gym and co-op on the ground floor! Everything you could ever want and need in walking distance from the front door!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven't had many issue but Luke the maintenance man and the on site team have quickly responded and reacted to any requests ASAP! It great knowing they are there whenever you need them!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I only wish I knew about Platform sooner, me and Rex absolutely love it here and couldn't ask for more from the building or the team.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Platform Cardiff is an amazing apartment complex. It is very close to Cardiff Central railway station as well as Cardiff city center. There is a supermarket in the complex which is named Coop. It is a good supermarket that provides everyday essentials. There is a homeless shelter in the same street as Platform Cardiff, however the homeless are harmless and do not annoy the general public. There is a security guard at night who is available in the reception. The security guard takes regular patrols around the complex.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management provides excellent customer service and maintenance. I had a clogged sink once in my bathroom and placed a maintenance request. The head of the maintenance team, Mr Luke, immediately came to my apartment and fixed the issue for me within a few minutes. Excellent maintenance team as well as customer service.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew how friendly, patient and tolerant the building management is. The best thing about Platform Cardiff is the amazing building management and onsite team. They are like family. I can always speak to them if I have a problem or if I just need to chat with someone. I would never leave Platform Cardiff because I know how good and friendly the onsite team is and I know I will never find friendly people like them.

Excellent Access to the city center and city central station, as well as an easy journey to the vibrant bay.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have had blessedly few maintenance issues but what few we have encountered have been dealt with clearly and swiftly.

How easy the process would be. We were stressing out quite a lot prior to the move and it wasn't really necessary, everyone was a delight.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The best to happen at Platform this year is the opening of the Co-op store on ground level. It has made grocery shopping a breeze. The gym is my favourite facility, catering to most fitness needs with a clean and sanitised environment.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are always on time with the fixtures, and the team makes sure you are on the same page as them to avoid any confusions.

I wish I had known that the terrace is a non-smoking zone.
