The good aspects in terms of location is that there is a co-op located ten seconds from the property as well as the Cardiff Central train station as well as one of the main high streets in Cardiff. No bad things about location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building manager Matthew handled my complaint of discrimination from some residents very well and professionally and makes me feel safe living here

How successful and attractive most people who live here are.

Location is perfect, it’s so close to the centre of town so everything you need is right on your doorstep.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The team at Platform are one of the best things about the building, they answer any queries instantly and are always happy to help.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It can get loud in the evenings sometimes due to the large amount of students in the building but security are very good with staying on top of any noise complaints.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is really convenient with plenty of shops, cafés and transport links nearby. It feels safe and quiet most of the time.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes. They have been very helpful answering through emails and whatsapp services whenever they can

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

NA. Only to check on the electricity and water bills before moving in which is something that has to do with previous tenants.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Located near Cardiff Central station, with a convenience store within the building, making it extremely convenient. However, the surrounding area has a slightly poor reputation for safety, particularly at night when voices can be heard coming from Dumballs Road, and litter is often strewn about. Additionally, the noise from the air conditioning exhaust on the roof of the building opposite across the road is a bit loud.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have not yet encountered any major problems, but the staff are responding to various questions with genuine care.

It would have been helpful to know beforehand about the local safety situation (especially at night) and noise levels.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

GOOD - Close to city centre BAD - Right next to homeless centre. Have seen people be assaulted in the street. - lots of people drinking outside the buildings

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It’s been pretty straightforward. Just pop down for a chat.

Overpriced. If you don’t need a pet friendly rental don’t move here.
