Great place to stay and great facilities, however there's an issue with parking and it's only going to get worse!

They always reply promptly and professionaly, I can't fault them.

I knew the area very well already but I wish I knew how bad the parking was.

Not a lot of available shops or restaurants nearby. However the city centre approximation is close enough

Only minor issues with rooms but it’s to be expected

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i had known there was amazing equipment for animals i would have brought my pet over when i moved here.

1. Both lifts rarely work 2. Parcels get lost (one particular time I could not find my parcel, asked the girl at reception if it could be behind reception and she told me that absolutely no parcels were signed for that day, which is odd because someone on night shift found it. I was very disappointed to be lied to and was ready to contact Royal Mail and accuse their staff of lying) 3. The bin room is absolutely disgusting, people just drop their bins anywhere because there is not enough bins for the amount of people in the block. 4. Most days someone has left a dog poo in the bark park, so disrespectful given their is a bin right there, this may not be platforms fault but adds to the overall review. 5. So noisy - living on the 6th floor there is constant noise from the games room, people slamming doors and constant foot traffic. Even the sound of balls coming off the pool table can be heard. 6. No one monitors the games room - there are people in there past 11 most nights and sometimes even until 2am 7. The building falls apart when there is wind, the front entrance is not useable which is wild given it’s a river front property, you’d think this would have been considered. I’ve seen doors hanging off, doors unable to be closed because the wind is keeping them open. 8. Security - the gate to Block A car park has been broken for weeks now, I’m not surprised there was a break in to one of the bike sheds. There are also very often small groups of men in the reception area 24/7 which can feel rather intimidating.

Local area is fine, particularly like the dukes umbrella. Good luck for the hydro and the motorway. Close to central station which is handy

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Like they don’t care to be perfectly honest . As highlighted above lost parcels and noise issues were not taken seriously.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Would not have moved in had I known about all the things highlighted above, but I think most of all the security of the building (broken gates and doors) and the fact the building cannot stand up to Scottish weather

We just moved to Scotland into the Platform apartments. This apartment building has a Sainsbury’s attached to it, gym onsite, movie theatre, library, etc. there is a bus stop near by as well for transport.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded promptly and quickly with any concerns we’ve had.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The location is exceptional, 15 mins walk to city centre, right on the river, easy walkable paths to get to. We love it here.

Quiet yet a bit underdeveloped around. Seems to be a lot of construction happening soon for mid rise buildings

Quickly and professionally and always work to find a solution

I wish I had known the surrounding area was a construction zone but there’s not much noise as of now
