The staff have been brilliant from day one. Location is great, amenities are also fab. The events hosted have been excellent, my children attended their Halloween night and had a great time. Big shout out to Amanda & Felicia.

Any issues have been looked at and I have been kept up to date.

I’ve been staying at PLATFORM_ for a while and have had a very positive experience. The building is modern, well-maintained, and has excellent facilities — perfect for both work and relaxation. Special thanks to Felicia and Amanda, who are always friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. They truly care about residents’ comfort and always go the extra mile to make things easier. Highly recommended!

wish I had known how quiet and comfortable the building actually is — it exceeded my expectations.

It is a very convenient place with many buses going directly to the city center. The nearest stop is just 3 minutes and the others are within 10 minutes walk. There are big supermarkets like ASDA,ALDL,Coop, Lidl,Tesco superstore within 20 minutes walk in different functions and there is a day one in 3 minutes walk. There are many restaurants in ferry road and Leith walk within 15 minutes walk from Platform. Besides, there are many parks around and it’s a pet friendly community.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very fast. I have two issues and they came in the same day as I reported.

It needs about 2 weeks to set everything, even the room is empty, we can’t move in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very central area, mostly quiet, can hardly hear the road. Good parking available too and close to rail station and transport links. Sometimes noisy with emergency service vehicles but only if the window is open.

Yes they’ve responded instantly and any issues are always resolved quickly.

I can’t think of anything as I felt I got all the info I needed when I was shown around prior to moving

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is very convenient and student-friendly. There are several supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance, and public transport connections are excellent — buses and trains make it easy to reach both the city centre and the university. The area feels quite safe even at night, and the community is generally quiet and respectful. Occasionally, the street can be a bit noisy during weekends, but it’s understandable given the central location. Overall, it’s a comfortable and vibrant area to live in.

The building management has been extremely responsive and supportive.

I wish I had known how friendly and helpful the management team would be — it would have made my decision even easier! Also, I didn’t realize how convenient the location is for daily life, with supermarkets, restaurants, and public transport all nearby. For new residents, I’d recommend joining some of the community events or simply chatting with Amanda and Felicia — they always make you feel welcome.
