Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location as it’s an easy walking distance to town and uni, always seems to be busses going past however I’ve never got one so the transport is good, there’s a few car parks nearby which is helpful. The only noise I ever hear if if Sainsbury’s is getting a delivery and I leave my windows open

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I’ve had a couple maintenance problems since I moved in but they’ve been fixed within two days of reporting them which is helpful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Tips id suggest is use side gages as it can be a lot quicker to get to your flat than by going through the whole building. The bedrooms are a little small if you’re wanting to ‘decorate’ or have other things apart from the bed. However the wardrobes are big enough to fit drawers in the bottom for extra storage.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I’ve recently moved into the area and so far it’s been a great experience. There’s a good range of local shops, with a mix of independents and larger supermarkets within walking distance. Plenty of cafes and some good bars nearby too. Open spaces like nearby parks are a big plus.. perfect for a quiet walk or just to relax outdoors. Public transport links are reliable, with buses running frequently and a nearby train station that makes commuting easy. The street itself is fairly quiet, though parking can be a bit of a challenge at peak times. Bin collections are consistent and I haven’t seen much in the way of anti-social behaviour. Overall, it feels like a safe and well connected area to live in

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been responsive and efficient, resolving any issues quickly and keeping communication clear throughout.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I’d recommend getting familiar with bin collection days early on, as they’re quite specific and can vary by building. Getting used to all the doors it’s easy to get lost in such a big building take some time getting used to it. Overall, small things, but good to know ahead of time!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

it’s like a 20 minute walk into town or a 5-10 minute drive so it’s not all too bad, with the new sainsbury’s in the building you have pretty much all you need, all in all the location is pretty decent apart from the parking and constant construction going on

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

i have reported that my utility bill is insanely high for how much i am actually in my apartment as i stay at my partners house most of the time and am pretty energy efficient with turning lights and electrical compliances off yet nothing has really been done about it and the utility company refuse to help me with it.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

i wish i knew that council tax or utilities were not included in rent as i pay so much to live here already and now there’s constant bills thrown on top of it to the point where it’s like im doubling my rent in other payments.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my local area has been mostly positive. There is a good range of local shops and supermarkets nearby, and several restaurants and cafés that offer a nice variety of cuisines. The area also has some green open spaces which are great for walking or relaxing. Public transport is generally convenient, with bus and train links easily accessible, although delays do happen during peak hours. The street I live on is quiet most of the time, but parking can be difficult in the evening. Bin collection is regular and reliable. There is minimal anti-social behaviour, and traffic noise is low overall.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been generally responsive and helpful, addressing most issues in a timely and professional manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that parking can be quite limited in the evenings, especially on weekends. Also, noise from nearby construction wasn’t mentioned during the viewing. I’d advise new neighbours to check the area during different times of the day.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good access to public transport. However lack of parking spaces. The onsite parking is too expensive. Recycling bins are overflowing and need emptying more often. It's a very quiet place to live which I appreciate as I need silence to sleep.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been very helpful. Respond very quickly and help with all queries efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Bad: The lack of storage space is a factor. Good: Facilities are incredible
