PLATFORM_ in Sheffield, S1

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We really like the location of Platform in Sheffield. Biggest plus is being only 10 min walk from the train station. Biggest negative is parking. There isn’t anywhere to park which is affordable near by. Expect to pay £100+ a month for parking in city centre somewhere.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Super simple to raise an issue and always dealt with quickly and effectively.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking is difficult. Not easy to find adequate and safe parking.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good shops local, good places to eat and drink. Not much noise at night. Not a lot of green spaces around but I don’t mind

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven’t had any issues at all, so I haven’t needed to contact building management. Everything has run smoothly from the start, and I’ve had no problems that required their help. It’s been a straightforward experience with no concerns so far.

Honestly, nothing. All the important information was explained clearly before we moved in, and everything matched what we were told. There haven’t been any surprises, and the whole process felt transparent and easy.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area has been quite convenient, as there are plenty of shops (e.g, the moor) within easy walking distance. Train station is also 10 minutes walk away. The only downside is the traffic noise like the soundproofing isn’t the best, so you can hear cars quite clearly at times. Also the bills can feel a bit high. Aside from that, it’s a nice place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven’t raised any issues since moving in, but before that they were always very responsive.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that the soundproofing isn’t very good, especially with traffic noise

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are many benefits about living here. The moor market, Sheffield city centre and Ofcourse my favourite cafe (cafe Nero) all just 5 minutes away. I don’t think I have faced anything negative here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quick. They have responded within 1 day every time.

I pretty much a clear picture about everything before I moved in so there was no surprises.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Really nice living in town, it’s so close to the station, so very easy to get in and out of Sheffield! Quick access to Aldi Sainsbury’s and the moor market too!!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Instantly - we had some crevices which were sorted by the following day
