Nice overall — but lots of room Hyde to sort itself out

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Our location is amazing. We have a great community and lovely shops and cafes. It is pretty quiet in general, with occasional noise or disruption but nothing problematic. Low traffic noise and well connected. There is often quite a lot of rubbish and dog poo around which has increased in recent months.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes but is always slow, erratic and poorly managed and communicated.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How terrible Hyde is, ha! The comms are dire and sometimes delayed or non existent. The costings are often incorrect and it can take months to get responses.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great local shops. A sense of community. Nice communal initiatives. Family friendly. Well connected. Walking distance to most places. Great range of restaurants and bars.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would have liked to know how the play area was going to look (we moved in prior to it being finished).

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

It would have been nice to have a choice in decor choices ahead of moving in. I would also tone down the design of the park in Packington Sq to reflect Canalside Sq.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Angel is super nice. The transport links are very good. The tube is nearby and there are many buses too. The area in general feels quite safe too. There are quite a lot of things to do as well, as there's the canal, the park, and a very nice pub nearby. The only problem is there is a construction going on right outside the building which is quite annoying, especially on Saturdays. There is also an issue with the postcode, as sometimes it is not recognised so it is kind of complicated for getting things delivered to the flat.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known the construction going on outside the building was going to take longer than expected.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lots of phone robbings, lots of gangs around the area, pretty unsafe ifor you ask me. Sometimes I do fear my kids get mugged so however local school is nearby. Also there's a Nice park around the area which is good. Easy to get to the tube stations and good bus links.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing really everything was as expected can't complain

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Angel is a great area, has a local park and canal nearby for morning runs. High street is very close by with a five minute walk along with the station which is convenient. Many restaurants to eat locally which me and my fience love doing often. I would say It gets pretty noisy at night, with some police presence around but I would say it’s relatively safe area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The extra management fee came as a surprise and something I’m not pleased with paying.
