Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This is an emerging area; it's safe, but needs more shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars, although it is very helpful to be just a few minutes' walk from a large supermarket. The neighbourhood is clean and quiet, and I haven't had any problems with overflowing bins, traffic noise or anti-social behaviour. It's a five-minute walk to a major road along which many bus routes run throughout the day and late into the night.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, usually very quickly, although there have been ongoing problems with the hot water supply, which seem to have finally been resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I thought that more shops and restaurants would open in the area as the population increased, but that hasn't happened, and at this point I'm not confident that it will.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There’s basically no transport links, closest tram is Deansgate. There’s a nearby train station but it’s at least a 10 minute walk so be mindful of that.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very very slow in responding to issues or they don’t respond at all. When you do get a response it’s the bare minimum and the office staff can be quite rude.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How many issues there would be. We have had constant hot water issues for almost two years and several other issues with people smoking and smoking grass in the building.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Near Manchester city center and aviva, 10 min walk. Sainsbury’s and gym a 5 min walk. Best location place so far for me

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They usually reply and help, though sometimes I get no answer to less urgent issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How the post works (no reception, you have to go to mailroom on another building) and the fact that you can’t open some doors from your interfone so you need to go downstairs to let people in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great area, close to the city centre. Cafe and bar on sight are amazing. Sainsburys and other shops very close.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responded to all questions very quickly. Never had to report any problems.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

On street parking is difficult at times. Can be a bit of a walk.

Below expectations - constant issues and smells

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good = location, local co-op on the door step Bad = constant smell of weed in and around, poor communication from office, having to constantly chase. The smell of cooked food in the halls and flats themselves. Parcel room is packed and you don’t always receive a delivery notice. Hot water will constantly go off on a monthly basis without long term fixes and no apologies or refund/discount for constant issues.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Great for the first year, however we’ve had to chase 5 times over email and calls for something to be done

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Lack of parking for visitors (3hrs max), the smell of food and weed makes it hard to say anything positive
