Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The fountainbridge are is great, with amazing connections to the rest of the city, and is a busy little hub in itself being right next to Tollcross. The quality of supermarkets locally is great, it is a hub for some of the cities best pubs and bars. Being right on the canal provides great walking opportunities. Due to it being a block away form the main road, it is very quiet and secluded from much city noise too

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management have responded professionally and effectively with everything that has been raised, props to them for being so diligent

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s nothing that i wish i knew beforehand, the move has been made very easy with the property management team. Communication has always been good

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good location and close to good grocery stores. Amazing access to the canal which is a great bonus for walks/runs. However, still loads of construction around which makes it quite disruptive (especially at the entrance). Besides that, it’s a great and very accessible location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They’ve been amazing at responding to issues. We reported the leak and someone came to look at it almost immediately. The person who came to look at the issue explained it very well to us in terms of what may have caused it and what steps they were going to take to hopefully resolve it. Very pleased with the experience so far.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Most things were as expected but there were small appliances that didn’t come with the property, such as a kettle and toaster.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely area. Loads of local amenities. Short walks to some of the best social areas in Edinburgh. Great walks for the dog as well. It’s a perfect location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven’t had any issues but I’m sure they would be dealt with swiftly. Just as our application and moving in process was.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A floor plan would have been handy to see the space. But I took enough pictures during the viewing that I didn’t really need one

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a wide selection of cafes, restaurants and bars within walkable distance - Bruntsfield is very close by where you are spoilt for choice. The meadows and canal offer great walks opportunities without having to get into a car. The transport links are excellent with lots of bus stops on the doorstep and Haymarket is a 10 minute walk away. The immediate local area is quiet, with friendly local residents and businesses.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There has been no issues whatsoever however we expect they would handle this the same as any other enquiry, with great efficiency and consideration!

Take pictures at your viewing if you can - the space is endless so it will help you plan homely touches.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in the city centre has been an amazing experience so far. As someone who lived “out in the sticks” I was really craving that city centre feel with an aspect of quietness and New Fountainbridge has really fitted the bill . Everything I need—shops, cafes, gyms just a short walk away which makes daily life feel convenient and vibrant. The energy of the city is fantastic, always something happening, whether it’s a new restaurant opening, a weekend market, or a park run. Public transport is great, so getting around without a car is easy and stress-free. I also love the mix of people—students, professionals and families—which gives it a lively and diverse atmosphere. Despite the fast pace, the community feels really personal and connected, with friendly local businesses and familiar faces everywhere you go no matter the day or time.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I’ve only had a couple of very small issues with both I was updated regularly on the progress and solved promptly even out of hours it was seamless.

Absolutely nothing, my viewing of the flat told me everything I needed to know. The explanation on the development website and pictures was enough to convince me that this was perfect for me and the viewing only brought to life what was already clear in the advertising plus some key info. Overall it’s been fantastic.
