Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Covinient location to transport links and a few local shops near by. Some residents leave their bins outside on the street and blocking the entry to the car park. There's lots of fly tipping in private property and property management are slow to act not reprimanding those causing issues. There is anti social behaviour from local teenagers and other residents causing excessive noise. Not enough parking causing flat residents to park directly in front of our front door and blocking the path.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond fast but nothing gets done. They are nice enough but nothing seems to be a priority and when they do visit to check issues nothing is fixed or sorted.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Researched the area more and understand the terms of the property management services as it seems like they aren't responsible for what the contract says they are but we pay out a lot of money for nothing to be maintained.

The good outweighs the bad

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

In great location for Manchester City Centre and Salford Shopping Centre. Lidl located within 3 minutes walk and a small complex with hairdressers, cafe and shops across the park. Frequent buses to take you to the city centre. Parking is fine everyone has a driveway, however the street is full, lots of commercial vehicles and people using the street to commute to Manchester, makes it difficult to get off your driveway and not a pleasant sight when you look out of your window. No real road traffic noise as cul de sac location. Bin collection is reliable and occurs every Wednesday. No real concerns on anti-social behaviour.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Initially the property developer was fixing snagging issues, no contact made in approximately 9 years.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish there was some form of parking restrictions or rules on commercial parking as this is the only real issue with the streets.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very close to Lidl and very close to town. If you aren't on the edge of the estate it is very quiet. Never had issues with bins or parking. Could do with a bar, cafe or restaurant being nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always dealt with them swiftly but there have not been many in our time at the building.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How close it is to Jerusalem Wetlands! They are a lovely place to visit.

Nice houses, good location!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is ideal for families and young professionals, it has great transport links to Manchester and Salford. You can walk to Manchester City centre in approximately 20 minutes, this is noticeable with people using our streets to park and walk to the workplace. There are a couple of parks within close proximity and a small shopping complex (the Vibe) offering a cafe, hairdressers, convenience store etc. There is little, if nothing in the way of anti-social behaviours, and no traffic noise in the proximity. The primary school is a stone’s throw away, high schools and colleges are slightly more distanced.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Initially when the houses were being built the management team were fantastic and fixed any unresolved problems. Now the houses are nearly 8 years old there is no contact with the building management.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Measure spare room size, ensure small bed fits. Check en-suite to ensure extraction fan is located. Check sustainability of fences. Check appliances are working properly including boiler.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area has had various crime reports in the past but having lived here 6 years now I have never seen trouble of felt unsafe. I walk to and from work in town on a daily basis. We love it here. Neighbours are friendly and there's enough space in the street for visitors parking.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were told Mocha Parade would become a new development but after years that's only just happening.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

The garage door has had to be repaired twice after breaking.
