We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Poorly designed plots and houses, some 3 bedroom homes only have driveway space for 1 car yet some 2 beds have space for 3-4 cars , seeming to forget that people require storage space, not just beds in their bedrooms, fitted with very basic fittings and can’t build in a straight line

The side of the development where I live is nice now they have surfaced the roads but they should have fully tarmacked the driveways. Over on the new part of the development the houses are too close together and the pavements are not very wide which is a problem for the disabled and people pushing prams.

Overall, the house is everything we wanted. Space is brilliant for a new build. Garden is very large. Inside space - slightly more storage was needed e.g. cupboards but love the layout of our house style. As a company Gleeson are very slow to sort defects and you are often left chasing them.

Roads are poor quality and took ages to get finished, gravel drives are a nightmare!! Had issues with heating that was the builders fault, still waiting for it to be fixed 2 years on. Great neighbours and community though, everyone is friendly and always willing to help out if needed

Gleeson homes are value for money. We have had problems with leaks in the bathroom and kitchen sink several times. As a blank canvas property, it was perfect for us as first time buyers. It's not been a 10/10 experience, but we can say we do love our home. Going forward, I don't think I'd live in a new build again.
