Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Really convenient being close to the local supermarket and has the option of Salento for great coffee and Italian food. Parking is plentiful and bin collections are regular. I have experienced no anti-social behaviour, and traffic noise is moderate, but apartments on the front of the development seem to be fairly well insulated to noise.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Slightly limited public transport links to get into the centre of Cambridge
What is the best feature of your home:
Good-sized kitchen area with integrated appliances and excellent views from the balcony.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We are happy to have a supermarket, café, children's play area, nursery and school, but we would like to have a normal gym (not just the very expensive Reformer one). Medical services for the neighbourhood (GP and dentist) would also be good. The park and ride buses are great, but too expensive and finish much too early in the evenings. A bus service to the train station would be very helpful. The cycle paths are great. Sometimes people (I think visitors, not residents) park on paved areas blocking cycle paths or too close to junctions. There are also issues with anti-social behaviour, shoplifting and vehicle and bicycle theft from people coming in from outside the development. It seems to take a long time for issues with the apartment or building to be fixed after reoprting them - even serious security issues like the building front door lock not working properly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The neighbours WhatsApp group is helpful for community events, advice on home maintenance and electricity and Internet providers. Barbecues are not allowed in apartment gardens or anywhere on the development except house gardens.
What is the best feature of your home:
Peace and quiet, modern design and appliances, great heating system

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Positives: A Co-Op which was open and useable during a very long period of water contamination, and had the convenience items we needed. Everything else remains a negative.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known the design and what it entailed. I wish I had noticed the differences before taking the step to sign a tenancy. Lesson learnt.
What is the best feature of your home:
There was quite literally none. It was absolute hell.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is modern looking but also has a lot of green areas. We get on very well with our neighbours and there is a good sense of community. As there aren’t any parking restrictions at the moment it means people do take liberties, although it doesn’t affect us often.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Our house was delayed and had we been given more notice this would have saved us a lot of time and energy.
What is the best feature of your home:
Our house is spacious and has enough space for my partner and I to work from home whilst enjoying space to entertain.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Marleigh Park is ideally situated at the edge of Cambridge city in the CB5 area, which offers a fantastic blend of convenience and tranquility. One of the standout features of the location is the small Coop shop right in the community, making it incredibly easy to pick up everyday essentials without having to venture far. Additionally, there's a charming family-owned Italian restaurant nearby that adds a delightful culinary option for residents. Transportation is a breeze, with the PR2 bus providing a direct route to Cambridge city center from the Newmarket Road Park and Ride. This makes commuting or enjoying the vibrant city life effortless. The Cambridge retail park is just a short 7-minute drive away, offering a variety of stores and amenities. The accessibility and local conveniences make Marleigh Park an attractive place to live, blending the best of urban and suburban life. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the location!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Most of the neighbours living in Marleigh Park are professionals in different fields and they are all very friendly and helpful. A very peaceful and safe place to live and raise a family.
What is the best feature of your home:
Underfloor heating on the ground floor, air source heat pump. High specifications of kitchen and bathrooms are included. Very modern design architecture in Scandinavian style.
