Great for private renters

I would say our building is a standard built with no special materials involved but makes a comfortable home for a private renter. it is well equipped with security fobs and intercoms, generally a very safe area to live in with plenty of shops nearby.

Transport links is my main positive attribute for choosing this area as it is accessible to school/work.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I didn’t really have issues, so this is not applicable to me

that parking for private tenants is unavailable and have to rent privately

Nice area with great people

Building quality isn’t the greatest, regular problems of molding and mini leaks. Property management answers calls but takes a very long time to facilitate an actual person to turn up and fix even the smallest repair works. L&Q definitely needs improvement on that.

Very good area with so much potential, close to everything one needs from socializing to shopping and recreation

property management is the one i would change as they’re not great

neighbours are great and have a strong community helping one another

Building and design is great but I’ve experience problems in my flat and the property management seems to have no urgency in helping as it takes ages to facilitate problems to be rectified. But it does get fix after a few weeks or months of chasing up.

Very quiet and no anti -social behaviour in the area, everyone seems to have a good sense of community lifestyle.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Too slow in rectifying problems, taking weeks to fix simple things is unacceptable

its all good, I knew the area quite well before moving in

Colindale gardens is a very nice development with top of the range materials used, I would recommend living here for sure. Property management is very helpful in helping out with everything, although it takes a little while to physically have a defect sorted.

very good range of shops nearby and a massive green open space for families and kids to play on plus everyone is very nice.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

there is no on site building management but the property management is responded promptly

I wished there was parking available for l&q private tenants.

We are privately renting from L&Q and they have 3 buildings in this development but they do not have an on site staff handling defects or complaints. They only have a caretaker taking care of the rubbish whom is very good by the way but the L&Q is rubbish.

The only plus things in this developments is its location and the neighbours but the way this building is managed is appalling.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management only logs your defect, someone comes to pretend and check but never actually fixes.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I should have listened to my friend and not do my rental with L&Q.
