Colindale gardens is like a small village consisting of over 10 blocks I think as they are still building a few more buildings but don’t be put off as its quiet to live in. People seem to have a good sense of responsibility towards their neighbours which is very difficult to find elsewhere.

Our block is managed by an external company called L&Q and they’ve been great from the beginning, would recommend.

A new primary school is to be built in the coming year
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Rentals team have been very efficient with the whole process.
Great area but do not rent from L&Q
My bad review is mainly because of how my landlord’s team deals with problems. The management team in the development does not deal with our building as L&q deals with our rental only building and they are full of promises in fixing things but nothing ever gets done.

There are no bad aspects in living in this area as it’s safe and accessible by bus and train easily going anywhere

I wished I knew how incompetent my landlord was, too bad

L&q after care is non existent, they do pick up the phone and logs your problem but nothing actually gets sorted after
Great place to live in as a family
Everything is great living in Colindale Gardens. We have a lot of friends in the development, the neighbours are considerate and have never experience any unsavoury behaviour since we lived here. The house and its surroundings are very well maintained.

All I can say is me and my family enjoys living in Colindale Gardens and have no regrets at all living here.

Parking spot for private tenants is a pain but plenty of other options nearby

I’ve had zero communications with the landlord except the lettings team but im assuming their good too.

The reasons I’m not recommending Colindale Gardens with L&Q is mainly that it simply does not cater for people with vehicles. You have to find your own contacts to rent from other people’s spaces at ridiculous prices. Secondly, L&Q simply cannot be bothered to address any problems you may have.

Overall, based on my experience with L&Q, I would not recommend living in colindale gardens due to the shortcomings.

parking is charged at £1.50 an hour 24 hours a day and 7 days a week

I don’t know if they are understaffed or simply unqualified but they do not know what they are doing
Great Great
The estate manager is brand new and not sure yet what he’s like but the concierges on this development are top and would go out of their way to help out a resident in different situations. The buildings itself seems solid and made of quality materials.

The area is a very ideal place to live in and feels like a community as residents tend to have groups and do things together.

Apparently Avengers Ultron was filmed in the Peel center ago.

I give 5 stars as they haven’t failed me yet but then again I haven’t a problem just yet
Good rental
The building I live is one of 3 owned and managed by L&Q. We normally have 2 on site maintenance guys keeping the place tidy and dealing with our bin rooms. Unfortunately, private tenants do not have a parking space available but there are plenty of other resident that rent their space.

Colindale Gardens is a big big development beside Watford way which means public transportation is abundant.

I have no complaints but I would have preferred to have the option to use the facilities on site a rental tenant

I’ve never actually met anyone from management but my check in process was fast and efficient
Affordable place to live in
I live in Uncinia House and find this building well built and well maintained which is why im surprised to see that some units are empty as its a tad cheaper compared to a lot of rentals nearby. It might also be because the prices have recently soared.

Great place to live in due to a lot of factors and a tiny bit cheaper rental compared to nearby developments

One thing I can say is that parking is very expensive here for private rental tenants

I have not raised any issues as of yet nor does the team have any outstandings for me
NW’s oasis
I believe that our building is owned by another company but is managed by Rendall and Rittner. We do not have the same priviledge as property owners as concierges can only handle our parcels and nothing more but still those guys do their best to try and help out regardless.

I love living in Colindale as this part of NW seems isolated and away from the hustles and bustles of Central London

Colindale station will be refurbished soon which will limit access

I’ve had a few minor issues and was given a solution in a good time.
Top development
We are currently on a rental block and I would say the quality of the building is top in terms of comfortability. We’ve got very minor issues but that should not deter anyone from renting in this development as its quite pleasant to live in free from hassles.

A very child friendly area with everything you need nearby such as Asian supermarkets, groceries and pharmacies.

Its a massive development with rental, private sales, help to buy and shared ownership.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We have never had an issue with our landlord as of yet and they seem professional.
Colindale Gardens is full of potential
Building itself is well designed and made with materials that are in the mid range in terms of durability and sturdiness. Property management is managed offsite somewhere in East London but they can be easily reached, meeting the deadlines for repair works is an area of improvement.

CG provides a sense of safety neighbourhood with respecftul neighbours and offers an accessible area.
