The local area is a beautiful quite area but is also directly next to so many transport links, we love it here!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been super on it and got someone to call within the day!

Everything was exactly as we expected but maybe a community app or Facebook page!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The housing development is very close to Barrowford where there are shops, pubs, restaurants, a small supermarket, clothes outlets, electrical shop and a sports hub, and a college of further education also serving the local area. There's a regular bus service about a 10 minute walk away. The street is very quiet, and with ample parking. There is a regular general waste, recycling and green waste collection provided by the local council. There is also Nelson cricket and football clubs and a athletics track and sports field within a short walk. The area also offers some good countryside walks nearby with Pendle Hill and the village of Barley a 15 minute drive away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven't had any issues to date, but the process of reporting snags and any other issues looks very straightforward.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The process of signing for the tenancy after my viewing was quite slow to start with but soon sped up and was quite straightforward.

It's a beautiful peaceful area, we love the quietness of the area, you can't hear any traffic noise. We love the local shops and barrowford park is absolutely beautiful. Parking on the street is perfect the drives are very large.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Great, speedy and good communication. We haven't had to wait long for any call outs.

I don't think there's anything that I can think of to be honest

The house truly is a dream

I originally moved from nelson, however, I have been looking for a bigger property for some time and really wanted to move to barrowford as it is a lovely little town and my children go to barrowford school, so it is proximate to amenities, we have a local, butchers, a range of salons, a super markets and some lovely bistros/bars and cafes aswell as a park for the children

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes within the first day I called about my dishwasher, the maintenance team was out within 1 day of reporting the issue

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The letting agents were extremely polite and ethical and explained every detail thoroughly

Overall look and design of the house is very nice

A choice of local bars & restaurants - one within walking distance. A short drive to a variety of supermarkets and other stores. Ofsted rated 'good' primary schools and college near by. Location is quiet (some nice during the day as this is still a working site) each house has driveway/allocated parking for a minimum of 2 cars. Approximately a 2minute drive to the M65.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly. The dishwasher has a fault, someone attended same day but could not repair and a technician was then quickly booked to attend a couple of days later. Good communication.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We do not feel there is anything we wished we had known. We made a big move from Cornwall to Lancashire so researched the area well before choosing this development. Be mindful that the development is not finished so there are building works during roughly 8am to 4pm but we were expecting this.
