Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I absolutely love this area! It’s very quiet and all of the houses are kept so lovely outside and it gorgeous all the time. The flowers all around are so pretty. Everyone is so friendly also when walking my dog so many people spoke to me. The co op just over the road is perfect as never have to go far in a rush to grab something from the shop.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew how happy I would be here, I had been through a slightly rough time and I happened to find this estate and applied to rent and was accepted, now I am the happiest I have been in a long time, me and my children are thriving here

What is the best feature of your home:

Dishwasher, on suite, downstairs toilet and big garden

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Dirty, lots of traffic noise from motorcycles. Antis -social behaviour from non-residents. Rubbish everywhere.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very badly. Do not respond at all, or respond so slowly and not in a helpful way. Fire alarms going off and no light bulbs on arrival when I moved in. Had to buy my own battery replacement and light bulbs. No one able to tell me what kind of light bulbs Had no water for >48 hours.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Smelly and overpriced. I would have to pay for private parking for a week because they wouldn’t get back to me about the residents parking

They’re great apartments in a not so great city

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

They’re great apartments in a not so great city. Kids hang out around the flats often, but I don’t mind. The garage door seems to break often and many of us cannot get into the garage with the remotes were given.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They seem to work on their own time during the working day hours… as someone who works during the day, that’s kind of difficult to get a hold of him.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i had known that the 3%-5% increase in rent a year was always going to be 5%. It’s extortionate and I don’t plan on staying much longer at this rate.

Could be better

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location to motorways are good and local shops . Bit of a walk to bus’s. Parking can be hard on narrow roads unless have a private garage/drive. Homes are packed in and just rows of cars and times hard to park outside own home due to others parking in way. Bin collections are on time, not much traffic noise just social housing kids playing outside everyone else’s home but there own and making a nuisance with shopping trolleys and smashing there own toys outside of your home. Then the strong drug and weed smell coming from a number of homes means own kids can’t play in garden or have windows open.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Keep checking crack. Understand get settlement cracks but after a long period of time when cracks keep showing or getting bigger or doors keep sticking after 3 times of getting them planed something doesn’t seam right. Also keep check on any work done as had to get back out to do same job which should have been done right first time.

What is the best feature of your home:

The size is good for family home and it does seam to retain a lot of heat in higher levels. Garden size is good also
