-Great location, close to station with fast links to London and Gatwick -Great local walking routes to Reigate, Coulsdon, Salfords -Plenty of shops nearby, including Tesco Express and Sainsbury's
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Always on time, fast response, 24/7 helpline, professional service

None - they are the best. Viewing was very friendly.

Close to train station and good to have shops nearby eg supermarket. Can be a bit noisy living the side of the public walkway (by the mall) at night there can be some people downstairs (on the street) being a bit loud.,
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Initially yes as soon as we said we were moving had to chase for a response.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Post room not secure. When we viewed the building it was still being built and we didn’t see the ground floor. (Post room) we get mail from overseas and have had some parcels taken.

Nearby shops and easy access to travel Not much to do in the area, pubs are quite dirty and parking is very expensive
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Got an email very quickly when I had any issues. Derrick and Charlie are very good at keeping on top of emails.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Wish I’d known that I can’t get my own meter readings

There is not much to do in Redhill, though transport to London is simple. The police once spent a night outside our front door after a violent assault, which left a blood patch in the morning. The high street was extremely sketchy and crime-ridden. In the suburbs Redhill is nicer, but the town centre is an awful place to live due to proximity to the train station.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They failed to resolve a number of urgent matters which we brought up.

I wish I had known how little Kooky care about their customers beyond extracting a maximum of capital from them.

Dear Resident, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would like to clarify a few points raised in your review. Kooky is not “financier-run” — our team has many years of experience in real estate and property management, and our focus is on providing high-quality homes and a reliable, positive resident experience. It’s disappointing to see a review containing several inaccuracies. From our records, the main source of dissatisfaction appears to have been the inability to end your tenancy early, which understandably may have caused frustration. In relation to your comments about illegal activity, we found no evidence to support these allegations. Our team advised that any serious concerns be raised with the police, but this was not pursued, and no incidents were substantiated. With regard to the comments about heat, we have not received other reports of similar severity. The building was constructed in line with planning and environmental performance standards, including high-performance insulation designed to ensure both comfort and energy efficiency. Finally, on the matter of the replacement fob charge — as outlined in the tenancy agreement, all fobs must be returned at the end of a tenancy. Where they are missing, a standard replacement charge applies, consistent across all residents. This is a beautiful area with stunning facilities that are always clean. The street is very quiet, clean, and tidy. I really like the area in which I live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, but it took them quite a while to respond. The only real issue here is that they work between the hours of 9 and 5, which is also when I work. Thus, when I'm back from work and see something is wrong with the house, I do not know how to reach them.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That there is no sunlight in the way I'm facing. The apartment itself is one of the most beautiful places I've ever lived in, but the lack of sunlight makes it really annoying. Also it doesn't come with a desk to study at home with (not a deal breaker, but a bit annoying for those who can't work downstairs in the co-working space)
