High end development in a great location

Imperial Wharf is excellently located – just a 5 minute walk to the Kings Road and a little further to Fulham Road. The transport links are great. The overground is just over the road, which takes you one stop across the river to Clapham Junction or up to Shepherds Bush for shopping at Westfield and accsss to the central line. The development itself has a 24 hour concierge with lovely staff as well as a gym. There is an option to buy a pass to the underground parking too. The site is mostly pedestrianised, so it’s great for children. It’s a short walk to the river, past a supermarket, a couple of restaurants and a great pub. I love living here as the flats are high spec and come with high speed internet and airconditioning. I feel that our flat offers good value for money, but when you factor in the additional cost of the parking, I feel that it may be better if you were not a car owner!

Please tell us what you like and/or dislike about this location:
The location is great as it is by the river and has good transport links to the overground, tube and buses, as well as the Thames Clipper. There are a few restaurants nearby but I would love to see more casual restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area, as there are not many places within a 5 minute walk that you can go to relax, especially with children

Please share one thing (or more) that you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I’d have known that the car parking season ticket could not be paid for monthly, only on a 3 month, 6 month or yearly payment, and that the cost rises quite considerably each year

Desirable riverside living

Imperial Wharf is a riverside development in west London with its own railway station and branch of Sainsbury’s and Tesco. The buildings are excellent and the apartments are well designed. No wonder I get requests from letting agents through my door almost every day.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

So we have a Tesco and Sainsbury’s on the development but if you want restaurants, pubs or other shops you will need to get the bus/train to Clapham Junction or Shepherds Bush/Westfield.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That my property would be so desirable and I would get constant hassle from letting agents

Faultless

I have lived here for 4.5 years and I can highly recommend it. It is easy living as it is like hotel service. It is on the river which is great. It also has great security, very friendly people and a good cultural mix. There is absolutely no noise from neighbours down and up which is unbelievable really. The restaurants and cafes are fabulous and gives a community spirit. The syrian restaurant is amazing.
There is underground parking and good links to London with Imperial wharf station so close. You can get to Gatwick in less than am hour.
Also, every floor has a rubbish shoot so no dealing with rubbish and there is recycling in the carpark.
The concierges great – John is amazing and deal with issues so quickly. Rendall and rittner are great at managing, there are various events all the time, like yoga etc.
There are good river taxi that take you straight Westminster and embankment.
Therea are great gardeners, a super team constantly working. Window cleaners absailing the building frequently.
It sums up London property market really.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Helicopters flying because of heliport across the river which is very loud.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I knew how loud the heliport would be. Can’t hear a phone call with the doors/windows open while a helicopter is landing.

Awesome place

I’ve been living in imperial wharf for 6 years now and find it very difficult to find another community like imperial wharf. I have all the amenities I need, close to the river and surrounded by like minded successful people.
I would highly recommend the area to anyone wanting to live close to central London but far enough out to have downtime.

Beautiful location, quiet and fresh air for central London

Beautiful green spaces, well kept by the management team. Quiet and fresh air for central London. Great transport links. Newly refurbished residents gym, although small has everything you need. Really friendly and helpful concierge. Buildings are quiet indoors.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Love the transport links, tube station with lift only 3 minutes away, and good bus links. Beautiful and quiet parks, with benches and a nice kids playground. Dislike local Tesco Express due to bad selection and higher than average prices but a large Sainsbury’s a short walk away is better priced and huge selection. Would be nice to have some more cafes nearby but there are some good places a short walk away on Lots Road.

Luxury living with great amenities

The flats are well finished and spacious, with wel maintained communal areas. The concierge service is fantastic and the porters that work there are attentive and friendly. There are a few restaurants in the complex and a great pub, though it would be better to have more eateries move in

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There are not many options for eating or drinking around here, and in the summer, it gets very busy!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is a riverboat from the nearby Chelsea Harbour, but it only runs in the morning and evening Monday to friday
