Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

THE GOOD: The area may seem a little isolated at first, but it’s actually very well connected. Bus number 5 stops right outside Moda, taking you to Brighton city center in about 20 minutes and to Church Street in 10 minutes, where most local pubs and restaurants are. A new 3x bus line will soon link MODA directly to Hove station, which will be great for commuters. Hove Park and LIDL are a 10-minute walk, and Waitrose is also nearby. THE BAD: Sackville Road and surrounding streets get busy and noisy during peak hours. The biggest downside, however, is air quality—pollution levels feel bad.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

MAINTENANCE:***** Toby, Kyle, and Joe have been brilliant every time—helpful with decorating, fixing heating and hot water issues, and always friendly and respectful. CONCIERGE:***** Nate, Shannon, and George are simply the best. They’ve made us feel welcome at all hours of the day—something truly rare. MANAGEMENT:***** Agne has been our main contact for feedback and issues—mainly around contract renewals, leasing team communication, and clarifying perks that were promised before we signed. She listens, follows through, and makes sure problems are properly resolved. LEASING CONTRACTS:** This has been the weakest part of the experience. Communication is often delayed, vague, or incomplete, which caused unnecessary stress. Likely a workload issue rather than specific people, but it’s an area that needs improvement. Thankfully, all matters have been resolved now.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Air quality around the development is poor—polluted and noisy during the day. It’s not much of an issue inside our flat, but as soon as you step outside the compound it becomes very noticeable.

Good local shops with Lidl and Waitrose nearby. Not far from the george street shopping area. Parking onsite makes life much easier as well. Decent bus routes just up the road as well

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had a curtain fall down which was fixed the next day. I also had an issue with my keylock system, this took a little longer but the team were helful and kept me up to date until it was fixed

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If you're south facing it can get incredibly hot in the flat. Aircon or a cooler is definitely a must.

It is close to Hove station, has a bus stop nearby that will bring you into Brighton centre and there are supermarkets, restaurants and other shops nearby. The local area is great.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any time there was a problem, I was able to report the issue through the app and I got a response right away. I had a few leaks in the apartment and people were looking for a fix within the next few days. It turned out that it would require works to be done in the apartment, so we were offered a temporary apartment somewhere else at Moda by the staff. This was very much appreciated! On top of that, I want to highlight that Moda staff were always transparent about situations and update us on where the problem is at in their agenda.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I moved here before! I've lived in different places all over Brighton and Hove and this is definitely my favourite.

Great new development, close to lidl and hove shopping areas. Good transport links to hove and brighton. Onsite parking and charging makes life much easier

Yes a curtain fell down and was fixed the same day

Gets very hot in the afternoon, could do with more ventilation

Hove Central is located 15 mins walking distance to Hove Station. It is well connected with bus stops to Brighton city centre. There is a Lidl grocery store nearby and several restaurants in the area. The accommodation is within a private compound with good access. There is minimal noise and has a very pleasant community environment.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have not had any issues with the accommodation thus far.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew that UBER does not recognise the address exactly, as it is a new development so they sometimes go to the wrong address for delivery and pickup.
