Managed by the worst company ever: Centrick.

Gelson (Tenant)

Verified Resident

Nov 2022

It was a good block of flats, but due to Centrick, the Managing Company in charge of it, the block is now falling apart. Centrick will routinely ignore residents reports of issues. A few examples: Lobby door has been broken for over a year. Lift has constant outages and Centrick will only act when several residents starts complainning. Cleaning is way bellow average, carpets at common areas are filty and way over their lifetime. Rooftop has been sistematically being vandalised/demolished. Bin room is full of rats and discarded materials which stay there forever.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Hammersmith is a great area to live. Great transport links and local commerce offers everything we need.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management by Centrick is the worst I've even seen. They do not act on the issues we raise.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I knew how bad Centrick, the management company is! I activelly loocked for a flat in this block because I love the location and was in search of a modern flat. Unfortunately, once I moved I realised the buiding management is the worst.

Not good value for money

The Property management very bad. Ventilation system in the flat and in the common area even worse. Door entrance sometimes not working. Thieves often try to break in (with success). Windows do not open properly. The billing system is not very transparent.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very well connected to the tube/city centre. Very bad property management, fungus growing in the corridors, communal area not clean

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management is often very slow in coming back.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parcels are often stolen, not very secure building. Also bikes often stolen despite being inside a locked room.

Great building, great location, easy living.

Sam C (Tenant)

Sept 2022

My flat is well designed and spacious, with quality fittings and appliances in built. There are some rumors about the management being poor but Ive contacted them on loads of occasions and they've been pretty easy to deal with. They fix the rare issue with the lift and door quickly and have installed cameras for added security recently. The bin room smells a bit but not a big issue as its away from the living areas. Car park is good and gated if you have a car.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location, easy walk to Hammersmith tube station, Westfield shopping centre, local high street with some great independant restaurants and bars and big supermarkets. Also very close to the river which makes for a great place to walk or run, and there are some great pubs along there too. Its on a busy road which is good for buses and traffic flows easy if you have a car its close to the motorway and easy route into Central London. I love living here!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes - there was an issue with the lift which was resolved pretty quickly. And they have a 24 hour line so I can contact them anytime. They're pretty easy to deal with unlike others I've used.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The corridors can get warm in summer but theyre also warm in winter which helps to keep my heating bill down so not really complaining about it!

Great location. The rest is terrible.

Nick. C (Tenant)

Sept 2022

terrible house. No privacy. You smell neighbour smoking and cooking and watching TV. Walls are super thin. Leakage in public area very often. The doors are not able to be properly closed. The management company centric say they are working on it. But every time it's fixed, it breaks in one week. Thus a lot of issues with stolen parcel. If you call the metropolitant police and tell them you are Gooch house, they knew where you leave because we are famous in their system. How do I know? I made my first 999 call in my first month here and they told me :)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Leakage in eletrict box. Crazy neighbours jumping up and down (some secondary school kids) Super high heating bill due to the public area is always heated even in summer. Stolen parcel every month. if you join the Facebook group of us you will know I'm telling the truth

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

terrible very slow response. The can focus on one thing at a time. But there are so many issue going on. Never stops heating network. Leakage here and there in public area where the wires are.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Heating is terribly high. The neighbours are not the worst, but some teen are crazy.

Awful! Worst building ever

Mosky (Tenant)

Sept 2022

The building is just 10 years old and has seen (and still see) the longest number of issues, from water leaks, smell in the corridors, super high termostatare in the corridors during all year (in summer feels like 50 degrees), lift broken multiple times, mice’s getting in flats, continuous stealing of delivery packages in the hall, broken glass of the main door, bikes stolen multiple times… do I need to keep going?? In one word, don’t even think one second this build is good, because it’s NOT. Stay away

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is good, Hammersmith is nice place to live and the riverside is great.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very bad, takes ages to get something fixed. Lift broken for multiple weeks, access to the building broken , leakages, bike stolen etc

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just do not move here
