Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location was extremely central and placed in the middle of a neighbourhood where you’d expect shops etc not a block of flats so traffic noise is terrible. I understand now that they have expanded the development across elephant and castle. There is no parking on site and no parking within about a mile radius either.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They were uncooperative when we were moving out and gave us 1 hour to park to move out. We cleaned for two days and had to come back and park several times to remove all property from the apartment and they wouldn’t let us park outside.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How much it was treated like a business rather than a place to live. The place is well marketed and they advertise the concierge service but they are so entitled and don’t want to do their job they don’t answer the phone. I actually had someone on the phone once at the reception and she went to ask about my query with someone else, I happened to be walking past and decided to go in at the same time as being on the phone and instead of going and asking about my question she had put me on hold and put the phone down for a few minutes while pretending to ask.

Many local shops and restaurants near here. Convenient neighborhood. A big train station and tube station around.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quick and the service is great overall. The respond speed is fast

No trash tube . Need to throw trash on B1 floor. Not that convenient.

Super convenient in terms of shops, gyms, transport links. ELephant park also has a lovely green space

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Timely and efficient handling of most issues by the team

No airconditioning in the units means its super hot in summer and fans are necessary. Poor ventilation in hallways

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is perfect for someone who is new to the country. You are very central and have ample transport at your doorstep. The bin area is absolutely filthy and nothing is done about it. Twice a week the bin area is absolutely covered with trash as tenants can’t be bothered placing there rubbish in another bin that is not within an arms throw of the door.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

See above comment about the couch. In addition I have also had issues collecting my parcel after concierge is finished for the day. Had a security guard tell me that I couldn’t just take my parcel and I must wait until the morning even though my parcel was just sitting there with my name and address and I had ID on me.

That these events they tell about is minimal, when you view the place they sell you all these workout sessions and social events however there is nothing on the app.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It feels very developed. Many restaurants and shops are nearby, as well as gym facilities and supermarket. It’s very convenient. As a woman, the area does feel unsafe to walk alone at night - but I guess that is everywhere in London.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly and efficiently with compassion. I was surprised.

I wish I would have known the area would be surrounded by developers, construction sights and tall buildings that block the view.
