Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Elephant & Castle is very convenient, with a wide range of supermarkets, cafés, takeaways and restaurants nearby, plus Borough Market and the South Bank within walking distance. Transport links are excellent, with the Northern and Bakerloo lines, multiple bus routes and main roads making it easy to get around London. The area is busy and improving, but ongoing redevelopment, heavy traffic and road noise can be drawbacks. Open space is available at nearby parks, though it can feel crowded. Like many central areas, there can be some anti-social behaviour, especially late at night.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All issues were responded to extremely quickly and the maintenance team were incredibly helpful and regularly went above and beyond to deliver a great service.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how noisy the sirens from the road below would be. Being near a police station the sirens were incredibly frequent.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in Elephant and Castle has its ups and downs. On the positive side, the transport links are fantastic. I can get pretty much anywhere in London quickly, and having so many buses and two tube lines nearby is a huge convenience. The area has changed a lot recently, and the new shops, restaurants, and public spaces have definitely made it feel more modern. I also really like how diverse the community is; there’s always something interesting going on, and the food options are great.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Whenever I’ve raised an issue, the building management has generally responded fairly quickly and kept me updated. While communication isn’t perfect every time, they do make a genuine effort to resolve problems promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how busy the shared areas can get during peak times, especially the lifts and communal spaces. It’s not something you really notice during a viewing. Also how expensive the parking is. Overall small things, but they would have been helpful to know in advance.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area has been really good because the connectivity to any area to get to Central auto to get to East London or to get to West London is amazing. There are about 28 bus routes going from elephant and Castle so it is an amazing place to stay

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management whenever there has been an issue, they have raised it and solved it within the week

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think the things which I would have known before moving in would have been how lively the area is. I was underestimating that.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Transport links are amazing, but also it's very central so you can walk to many places. There is also a Sainsbury's on the first floor which is. extremely convenient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly, they have always tried to sort all concerns

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn't appreciate how small our kitchen was during the viewings, it only became apparent once we fully started living there.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location was extremely central and placed in the middle of a neighbourhood where you’d expect shops etc not a block of flats so traffic noise is terrible. I understand now that they have expanded the development across elephant and castle. There is no parking on site and no parking within about a mile radius either.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They were uncooperative when we were moving out and gave us 1 hour to park to move out. We cleaned for two days and had to come back and park several times to remove all property from the apartment and they wouldn’t let us park outside.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How much it was treated like a business rather than a place to live. The place is well marketed and they advertise the concierge service but they are so entitled and don’t want to do their job they don’t answer the phone. I actually had someone on the phone once at the reception and she went to ask about my query with someone else, I happened to be walking past and decided to go in at the same time as being on the phone and instead of going and asking about my question she had put me on hold and put the phone down for a few minutes while pretending to ask.
