Absolutely love the location and area. It is super clean, safe and has a really incredible vibe about it. Super convenient location in terms of transport and being close to the city centre.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Super prompt and always willing to help. Always have a smile on their faces and make Dockside the community that it is.

Nothing that comes to mind as I was well informed by the team

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love being next to the water, and the bars and restaurants at the Shore are great. Transport is on the doorstep, but I am disappointed by Ocean Terminal, as there are so few shops inside. Only one Tesco Express! People are friendly (dog walkers especially!)

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Haven't yet had an issue. But i am sure that they will!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Be prepared to buy lots of soft furnishings as the flat is quite empty and echoey.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Peaceful area right on the water, with views of Arthur’s Seat. Less than a 5 minute walk to cute coffee shops and pubs, amazing transport links into the heart of Edinburgh.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very open, helpful and proactive. There is a nice sense of warmth and care from the team.

Nothing to add, everything was as expected :) And now I am typing some more to meet the minimum character limit…

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is great, with easy access to the waterfront, local cafés, shops and transport links. It’s a lovely area to live in, with plenty to explore nearby and a great balance of city living and being close to the water.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintenance team is on site and always within reach!

I wish I had known about how windy it is down by dockside!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lots of choices of bars, cafes and restaurants (though could be more), and can be a bit pricey. Although Ocean Terminal could be better shop-wise the benefit of having the Vue 2 minutes from home is a great plus for location. We've recently had family visiting and taken them on the boat at the shore for drinks and up to the bar/restaurant Port of Leith Distillery. The novelty of these type of places are a plus. A short 15 min walk to Newhaven has a few restaurants with great views and great value for food. The tram is another real bonus and you cant hear it from inside your apartment which is great. Overall one of the better locations I've stayed.

See above. As I mentioned speedy and appropriate response.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think I would emphasise the safety and security more. As I said living in a similar development in London security and safety was terrible. We had doors that weren't fixed for months so anyone could enter and packages went missing. At Dockside it feels so safe and secure. I understand the security guard is onsite but no longer visible. I was disappointed this had changed as to have someone visible is a deterrent for any potential anti social behaviour.
