Beautiful designed outside & inside, & lovely courtyard – friendly concierge and very helpful, however, continuous break-ins into the bike store resulting in numerous bikes being stolen despite the doors being ‘fixed’ & other measures being put into place.

10 minute walk to either new cross or deptford station which is so useful! Really close to shops & a few FAB restaurants.

The neighbours don’t like any noise! Noise travels fast!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have been incredibly helpful for small issues but as mentioned, clearly the bike store break-in measures have not been addressed properly.
A great place to live
We chose this flat over other options as felt the finish was done more to our tastes, eg the wall colours, floors and doors etc. Concierge are great and always extremely helpful. bike thefts are an issue but know not much else can be done for this.

Love that it’s close to new cross station which is great for London Bridge and overground to shore ditch. Love local bars and restaurants, particularly the independents such as Stockton, mama jerk, Marcella. Always happy to welcome more and hope they survive lockdown.

Great place with a few minor problems
The development is very nice, there are just a few problems with scooters driving through very fast and quite a few break ins of the bike sheds. Overall, the people are great and the apartment is quite a good build quality. I’m very happy that I brought here and would recommend it to others.

I love the area with lots of great things to do. Lots of green areas as well. The dog friendly nature of the development is a bonus.

That it can be difficult to explain how to get here for delivery drivers. That concierge is not 24/7
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Mostly they have been really sponsice but in a few cases they have fobbed off blame on the local council.
Love it.
Really lovely development with great design touch’s. A couple of things could be better such as the property management and some minor interior issues; but overall I am very happy here, glad I purchased. Feel very at home.
Would recommend Anthology!!

A modern neighbourhood in edgy Deptford
Deptford Foundry has been lovingly built on the site of an old metal foundry – an innovative design hub in its heyday in the 1800s. This mixed-use development is due for completion in the autumn of 2019, and the architects have paid careful homage to its industrial roots, with exteriors that encompass exposed brick, black wrought-iron and timber.
Deptford Foundry will comprise of some 316 homes across a three-acre site, spread among eight mid-rise buildings and a dominating tower. Landscaped gardens and pathways will weave among it all, giving the feel of a neighbourhood in its own right. 80 artists’ studios will also feature in a bid to welcome and nurture local creative talent.
The designers have gone for a chic and modern aesthetic throughout, with walls painted in soft ivory shades, contemporary LED lighting, and a mix of faux-wood and neutral carpet flooring. Kitchens come in off-white and grey tones, with sleek matt lacquer furniture and Siemens mod-cons, while bathrooms are tiled in elegant porcelain. Prospective residents can choose between one, two and three-bedroom apartments, and a balcony, patio, garden or private section of roof terrace is part of the package, depending on the type of home you go for. Lots of storage space also comes as standard.
In terms of location, the development is in the heart of artsy, fun-loving Deptford, a south-east pocket of London packed with restaurants, bars and galleries. The town is close to historical Greenwich and foodie-haven Bermondsey, and it’s got great transport links for getting further afield. The development is less than a 15-minute walk from both Deptford and New Cross stations, which means speedy connections to the likes of London Bridge, Shoreditch High Street and St Pancras International.
Good building poorly managed
The buildings have been constructed at a good standard. However, there were obvious flaws – such as weak magnetic locks that have allowed to break-ins every now an then.
The building management isn’t any good. Management charges are high and the services provided are subpar.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Walking distance to green spaces / parks as well as Thames Pathway.
There are cycle ways cutting through the neighborhood making it easy to get to central London and the City.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The bicycle storage rooms aren’t safe. There have been many break-ins and thefts.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Responses, when any, are not great – usually in a passive-aggressive tone.
