Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There isn’t a wide variety of shops. And they’re more for convenience. With the cooperative and premier shop. Both of which can be handy but can also be quite pricey. I’ve only been to the swan in Kibworth, and it’s food is quite decent. Not to big inside, and on weekends I can imagine it’ll be quite cramp. But, I speak for myself and others might prefer it that way. There’s plenty of fields around. Hopefully will last the length of my children’s childhood, before they’re joined with fleckney, great glen, and eventually wigston. Walking to a bus stop isn’t inconvenient but there isn’t a lot of spots you can wait for a bus, it’s mainly at the larger roundabout, near the library. I drive, so I’m not a reliable source of information about bus travel as it’s been a while since I caught one. But I can remember from when I would catch a bus, walking all the way into the centre of Kibworth, maybe in the rain, with children, or if you’re elderly, the distance can be quite a put off. My street is fine. I speak to a few people. All friendly. Obviously, can’t be everyone’s cup of tea and there are a small few people, who don’t talk that much, which is completely acceptable, some people aren’t for small talk and entertaining strangers on their street. Not a lot of noise. I hear an owl. And the occasional police car. That’s at night, during the daytime, obviously the builders are there and you can hear them, but they’re just temporary. I can’t complain about them doing their job.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The builders are going to make one hell of a dust cloud around your house, and you’ll need to clean you’re windows daily, as well as your car. And your doors.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely village, good amenities however often the nice little businesses on the high street don’t last very long. Good primary school but very large year groups.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It has been difficult due to covid however even prior to that we had lots of plumbing issues that you shouldn’t get in a new property.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Poor quality of bathrooms used. Lack of attention to detail when finishing off the property

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good high street with a small supermarket, pubs, post office, takeaways etc. Good and cheap bus routes to surrounding towns and city of Leicester. Free parking available in Kibworth which is convenient for shopping. My street is great to live on, bin collections are weekly and no traffic noise due to private drive and field opposite. Friendly neighbours!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, snagging was done promptly. Had a problem with a shower initially and it was fixed within a week

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Would have liked to have viewed a show home of this type of house but didn’t have time! No ones fault just would have been nice for personal inspo

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I think this house is lovely, really well set out and a nice design. A good area with a coop nearby, although loud with all the building going on even on a Saturday.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I raised a issue we had two days after moving in with the outside light but still 7 months later nothing has been done and as it doesn’t work at all even with a new bulb and autumn/winter is coming I want it to be sorted.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish that I had known that our loft wasn’t possible for storing things in.

Lovely area, even though building works are still happening it is so quite! If it wasn’t for the dust you wouldn’t know!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, the door has been looked at just waiting for a replacement to be delivered. Yet to hear back from my snag list but not due til October.

The instructions for boiler etc and who gas and electric were with to make it easier
