Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
This is a small development within easy reach of Wigston, Leicester and the motorway network. It is also close to open countryside and the canal network. Refuse, recycling and green waste collections are frequent and reliable. The development, which will not be complete until later in the year, will have integral open space landscaping.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes- the inevitable snags have been dealt with speedily.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Ask the advice of the developers on future plans for conservatory or green house to get advance permissions in line with restrictive covenants.

Buildings have been designed well and work from both a functional and aesthetic aspect.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Excellent locals shops and a thriving town centre only a fifteen minute walk away. Nearest bus stop is only a five minute walk away which can take you into Leicester and from there further a field. Pub located five minutes away with a great outdoor area and traditional interior with a range of beers on tap. Parking is ample and bin collections are every week. No anti social behavior noted on the development however if one takes a walk around the canals there are often people smoking cannabis and its derivatives such as hash. The users aren't very anti social and mind their own business, however some people may be offended by this behaviour. Traffic noise is minimal despite being located adjacent to Welford Road. Occasionally in the evenings following a LCFC match, the traffic coming down Welford Road is frequent and noisy.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish we had been told the the area surrounding was allocated land. Before purchasing the property I was not informed of this and now across the road from the development, the land will be developed and a new 650 property development will be created. This will turn what is an almost rural area into suburbia! If I had known this was on the horizon I would have thought twice about the purchase. In the next few years, traffic will increase significantly and all the associated issues that come with that will affect my development and the local area.
Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:
The landscaping at the front of the property could be greatly improved. The species planted are not native and do not fit in with the local area. Why didn't they plant native shrubs and trees to help aid biodiversity? Yucca and rosemary are Mediterranean plants and don't fit in with the surrounding landscape.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is so beautiful, quiet and safe ... very nice place for a family ... and it is very safe .. it would be much better area if a playground was created for the kids.. there are some open green areas, but it would be much more attractive if those areas were converted to a garden style areas with seats and walk ways.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The only thing that really we wish to have is a nearby playground for the kids,
Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:
Extend it a little bit more .. to have the room spaced larger
