Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We are in close proximity to Gedling Country Park which on completion of the new bypass will be easier walking distance. We have a small Sainsbury’s a short walk away. When you leave the estate whether you drive left or right there are pubs and shops a short drive away in either direction. We have 1 frequent bus and no issues getting taxis. Living on my street is fine. No noisy or antisocial neighbours, no loud traffic, easy parking (although I wish the parking bays had lines painted so it was consistent how many vehicles fit in them).

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

You can only identify snags that look obviously wrong when you’re a first time buyer. I didn’t know for example that Lino should be sealed at the edges in your bathroom. Great service would be the developer providing you a list of the expected finish to give you an idea of what to check.

What is the best feature of your home:

No shortage of storage and decent sized rooms and living spaces

Great residents ,all helpfull and friendly,definately a need for some waste bins on the estate to help with some littering

Not to of used keepmote suggested solicitors fiddler & pepper

What is the best feature of your home:

The three floors house is laid out and plot location!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Plenty of amenities, shops, parks etc. The park on the development has been delayed by around 6 months so there is not currently one on the estate but there are some in close vicinity (drivable). Bin collections fine however Royal Mail is not regular, I received birthday cards nearly a week late due to no regular postman. There were some individuals that were causing concern on the estate (young children / suspicious drivers) and because of this we decided to get CCTV. This is not a regular occurrence though. There was a pathway built on my road to lead to a local park, unfortunately, proper agreements weren’t made with the council so this has not been completed and is left as a path leading to nowhere.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Well, after two years of living here and a complaint started in December 2019, I still have a house that is not fully insulated.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had got a professional snagger in to complete a snag list in my property. We found most of them overtime but had we have gone in prior to completion with this, we would have probably got it resolved quicker.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Love living in Rural location with Gedling country park, as the back drop of our estate. The range of amenities are yet to be built but accessible shops near by are of good standard. The amount of flats built has been disappointing. I think more houses would of been more suitable.

The flats could of had their living rooms facing the views of the country park which would of reduced noise

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

I would of made sure snags were reduced and more efficient with getting snags done. I would of also liked to of been advised about the amount of flats on the estate

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very friendly neighbourhood. Near a local bus route and new road will be opening shortly making commutes easier. Within walking distance of the lovely Gedling Country Park.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Rectified as soon as possible when called - small issues soon dealt with but larger issues take longer
