We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

We were told a wall with water damage and damp would be repaired before we moved in- it wasn’t. It was caused by a leaking shower that had to be torn out and required us to take 5-6 days of annual leave while repairs were made. Additionally, it caused mites to be present in the bathroom on a daily basis. Laundry never dried because the flat was so damp and we had to constantly run a dehumidifier. The lock to the building door broke, trapping residents in the building on a weekend evening. It was removed and the door remained open for several months. Random people would enter the building and do drugs in the stair case. One night water began streaming from a light in a bathroom from the bathtub in the flat above us. We had to demand that someone was sent to assess it’s safety that evening because they didn’t feel it was a concern. It’s been over a month since we moved out and no one will return our calls regarding when we’ll get our deposit back. Never once in 9 months did we EVER hear from the Property Manager.
