I love the rooftop terrace and I love the play area near my apartment. I love how close everything is ie the shopping mall and the local shops are so close. It is a very quiet area there are no issues in terms of safety. minus the parking issue everything else is great.

The good aspect of the development is the security. No one can access the building without a fob key. The bad aspect of the development is the parking there is no place for parking and the most irritating thing is a code is needed for the gate so even if you had to get an Uber due to heavy bags from shopping. The gate is not open for the driver to drive me to the entrance. Please sort this it’s a nuisance.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the gate to the parking space is always closed. I think it needs to be open so that deliveries can take place and Uber can come to the entrance to the building. Sort this ASAP it’s a nuisance.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have been very prompt on dealing with repairs in the property.
Great location
The whole building designed nicely, apartments are very spacious, beautiful views, many windows, lots of light. However building and property management team not very helpful, they take a very long time to get back to you or fix anything, like one of the lifts is not working, took long time to fix front door.

Great location, excellent transport links to central and everywhere else. Local shops and market are close by.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I would know that it won’t be possible to get resident’s guest parking on the streets near by
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
It took a while for them to get back to me or fix anything
Great new development
The flats have been designed to utilise the shape and space of each flat. It’s clear that functionality was high oh the spec as it feels like they have thought of everything in terms of how you would you use the space in your everyday life. There is also lots of storage and there is a separate storage room where your washing machine is homed this makes the kitchen and living space more streamline.
The development is very safe and you can’t get onto any other floor but your own.

This development is in croydon old town, it’s location is perfect for travel with links into central london and the coast. There are a number of local shops within 4 min walk from supermarkets to clothes shops. There is also a number of bars and clubs within a short bus ride if that’s to your suiting. There is no parking on the development but there is space for moving in and deliveries. There is a car park across the road which is reasonably priced. There is a bin store which is cleared out regularly and is usually kept tidy. You can’t hear any traffic noise when all your windows are closed. You can not hear any neighbours either from inside your apartment.

I wish I had known how quite it is, it really feels peaceful here.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management are very efficient and helpful. I contacted them to find out how to activate my gas and electric accounts. They responded quickly and with the information I needed.
Lovely flats but very poor property management company
The flats are very spacious and soundproof. Not that it is of interest to me but there is a lovely communal garden aimed at children plus a separate communal garden which is a bonus.
The security is very good although not having a code to the main gate can be problematic for deliveries and I almost thing I preferred it better when it was broken.

Excellent transport links. There are a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants in Croydon catering to a wide variety of taste. However, the one downside of living in Croydon this that there is no full size swimming pool in any of the local gyms
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Just how rubbish Optvio are as a housing association.
If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:
The property management company as it offers limited helped and is very unresponsive.
Various perks
The properties are very modern with a flush kitchen and all the appliances built in which saved us a lot in moving costs. It is hard to get the windows open to clean but we have worked out how to do it. The bathroom tiles were a problem until I purchased a product for cleaning granite. Overall it is a nice apartment and below market rate.

Cairo apartments is based 5 minutes from the high street which has a range of shops and restaurants. There has been no antisocial behaviour since moving in in January. There is a problem with parcels going missing but this is due to the delivery companies leaving parcels in the communal area. Parking is an issue at this property as the surrounding land is not linked to the development.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That there would be such an issue with parking.
What is the best feature of your home:
The large patio, the well designed kitchen area and the spacious layout of the property.
