Most outdoor areas incomplete with no real management or regular info on progress. Unfinished areas are not kept free of rubbish as no one is responsible for those areas yet I moved in November 2023 and was told the amenities would be in place by end 2024. But go survey, medical centre, pharmacy, wellness/community room, super market car parking concierge on site and landscaping as yet are built but remain unfinished . There is still no end date . Unoccupied ground floor commercial and incompleted landscaping remain untidy, badly left to degrade shop fronts . No amenities exist and any research on it cannot find any timeframes and now are described by southern as hoped for amenities Heating and hot water system sold as eco friendly low cost independent energy supply. It is actually much higher cost with maintenance charged every month far higher than actual usage. Latest bill usage was £9 .10 but with standard charge and maintenance the bill monthly is £50 . I therefore do not use the heating system . The electricity supply can be changed to other supplier but heating and hot water can only be obtained from one company switch 2 that has turned out to be very expensive The service charges so far has doubled each year. Started at £136 per month and is now £445 . Concierge service is not as sold and service is very poor

Poor management they do not listen to the residents. It is not a secure building very unsafe. Homeless people sleeping in building and many parcels have gone missing despite telling management about faulty cameras , unsafe doors and poor positioning of our mail nothing effective has been done

Design of flat is excellent although more thought to the kitchen in terms of workspace would have been better. Building and property management is poor with slow and limited response from SH in all aspects of care. Slow response to Maintenance and security of communal areas, Administration of the agent is very poor with attention to detail severely lacking. An example of this is in the inadequate details given in the service charge and no acknowledgement or response to enquiries or complaints, a poor performing managing agent,

I’m extremely pleased with my new home! The design is modern and stylish, with an open layout that maximizes space and natural light. The facilities are top-notch, offering everything I need for a comfortable living experience. The building management team is always responsive, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, while Southern Housing property management team has been incredibly helpful, addressing any concerns promptly. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to live!

On the plus side - the building design is great, location amazing, views of the park amazing, and we love our space. There have been some teething issues as new build but defects dealt with appropriately so far. On the whole we love living here and it feels like a home for life, though not sure if big enough if we have more kids. :)
