Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local motorways within arms reach, quiet friendly family neighbourhood. Gardens good size and manageable. Parking is quite tight as the only downfall

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very responsive, use a portal to upload any issues/repairs. Can sometimes take a while depending on type of repair but no issues overall

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Rent increase, we have friends who also rent from wise living at scotchbarn Lane and havent had an increase in number of years but we recieved one in the first year. However overall we are pleased with the landlord and the services it provides. I would let a new neighbour know about the pizza nights!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my area is generally quiet and peaceful, with no real problems related to anti-social behaviour. There are a few local shops and restaurants nearby, but the choice is limited compared to larger towns. Transport links are good for getting to St Helens, but travelling to bigger cities like Manchester or Liverpool can be more difficult. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, as it’s a bit tricky to get in and out of the parking space at my home. Bin collections are regular and reliable, and overall it’s a safe and pleasant place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been generally responsive and helpful. They usually address any issues within a reasonable time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how peaceful and friendly the area is — it’s a lovely surprise! The neighbourhood feels very safe, and people are kind and welcoming. It’s also quieter than I expected, which makes it a really comfortable place to live.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

First good part is location itself. Close to shops and stations. No anti-social behaviour or traffic noise. One of the bad part is parking which definitely a problem in our section of the site which caused a domestic issue between neighbours after new neighbour move in recently. Parking spots are not marked and we were also misinformed about how many parking spaces we were gonna have. Also some parts of the site is not being cleaned when cleaning staff is in the site. There are a lot trees and dirt hanging over to the site and its always ignored. Houses at the corners pay the price.(We even considered moving out because of this).

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Although we had a real bad experience with the alarm system and there was no one to contact at the middle of the night. I can ignore that and say they respond fairly quick.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Trees around the site. As I mentioned they are being untouched and causing a lot of dirt parking places underneath. Also causing a lot of insects in the house for the houses at the corners of the site

There’s no such thing as traffic noise and parking is amazing . You got a whole packing space for yourself

When you have an issue they make sure to respond and communicate with you effectively

I think I would’ve appreciated if I was told about increasing rent each year honestly

Antisocial behaviour in the park facing the house. Good distance from local shops. Nice estate, well kept and green

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintenance requests weren't always carried out, had to chase a few times. They are happy to replace or repair things though.

House is spacious, garden is spacious, has basic facilities
