Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great location, next to public transport links, food shops and restaurant/bars. Neighbours are super lovely and respectful, and no anti-social/traffic noise.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
When i raised an issue someone in reception would usually get back to me on the same day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Cost of council tax and having spare keys for regular guests

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Central to Nottingham so an ideal place to live if you want access to nearby amenities. Quiet at night - parking a nightmare.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Haven’t raised anything yet so cannot comment on how it’s been handled.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How bad the parking was & the immersion boiler that doesn’t hold heat for longer than 24 hours
Manager response
Hello Alex, Thank you for your feedback. All our apartments are all electric as we do not have gas in the building, and the EPC rating for your home is D. Our maintenance technician will be able to attend to ensure the energy features in your home are set at optimum settings. Unfortunately we do not offer parking at British Waterways, further reinforced by the signage in place There are local NCP carparks that the community team can give you guidance on to find the most cost effective solution for your parking needs. If you do have any further issues you would like to discuss, please do not hesitate to coma end see myself or one of the team, where we will always be happy to help if we can.

The best flat I’ve seen in Nottingham, in terms of location, design, comfort, and the management is fantastic.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I think this is the best location in Nottingham! There’s everything around, and the train station is like a 4 minute walk away. Loads of cafes, restaurants, shops a huge Sainsbury’s, and other local supermarkets within a short walk
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very accommodating management. We had an issue with our washing machine (faulty machine) and the management gave us a solution immediately while dealing with the repairs. Also, they host fun little events every now and again for the tenants to participate in and get to know each other.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The only downside is that there is no parking, but we are very happy here with everything else. The management goes above and beyond.
Manager response

It’s a great area plenty of nice pubs and shops within walking distance and lots of great spots to get food from.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Always straight away very quick responses and quick repairs if anything wasn’t working
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How good the area around is and how much there is to do.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The property location is superb given that it’s the centre of town. The only downside is the parking situation. There are only loading bays out front but everyone abuses this and just leave their cars there. This means there’s no where to unload and the nearest car park is a few minute walk away. This means I often have to carry heavy goods a fair distance.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had an issue with my dishwasher as it had been installed incorrectly. I briefly mentioned this to Will and it was fixed within a few days. A++
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How paper thin the walls are. You can hear every step your neighbours make. This can make sleeping quite difficult.
Manager response
Hello James, Thank you for your positive comments about British Waterways and the team! We are aware the cars outside the building are causing some inconvenience, the owners of the estate have been informed and we are working together so that the loading bays can be used as intended.
