We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

My main reason for choosing Sharp House was the quality of the building and the great condition that it is kept in. My apartment came part furnished, the furniture and appliances provided were of exceptional quality. I was particularly surprised that it was all brand new, even though the building was already 3 years old. My kitchen came fully fitted with all the appliances I needed, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The building management at Sharp House have always been very friendly, I have only been living here for just under 2 months and so I haven’t had any major issues for them to sort out, but I am positive that they would respond promptly. A couple of weeks ago they organised a social event for all the residents to get to know one another, which was great because I got to meet my neighbours. They are all very friendly and welcoming, I was surprised to find that a lot of them are young adults just like me. I feel like there is now a community feel within the development. In terms of facilities, Sharp House is lacking. There is no concierge which is disappointing as it means our parcels are just left in the lobby. Although, I haven’t heard of anyone’s going missing which is a relief. We do have a communal outside courtyard; this is nice because it is like having a garden and is a good place to run into other residents for a chat or just to relax. Apart from this there is no communal space. My favourite room in my apartment is my bathroom. This is because it is very modern and sleek in design with white interiors and good lighting. I also find it very functional; it is easy to use and I never struggle to get hot water. Something that was very important to us when we were choosing somewhere to live was wooden floors because they are much easier to clean and deal with than carpets. This is what I particularly like about my apartment at Sharp House. Only the bedroom has carpets, which is good because I don’t have to worry about making a mess and staining the floors! I also really like how much we are able to personalise the apartment, I have been able to hang lots of things on the walls, which has made it feel significantly more homely.

My one bedroom flat did not include a parking space, which is very annoying when coming home from long journeys. I love the modern look of my flat, but the fire latches can be very annoying when it gets hot. The area is central to a lot of locations, so it is easy for family and friends to visit.

The accommodation is in a central area to pretty much everywhere in London. There is easy access to the train, and tube lines, making it easy to get to work. However, it is very close to a busy road which makes it hard to sleep. There is loads of storage space inside, and i love the modern look of the apartment.

It is extremely difficult to get access to building management. Always a different one every time now and again. It is ridiculous. However on the positive side, the place itself is roomy and very cosy.

Other than a little bit of noise pollution, the location is amazing. There are 5 underground lines nearby, as well as an overground station. This made my partner and me instantly fall in love with the place.
