Warm comfortable apartments, concierge always helpful never miss a parcel, pool table and communal area great for hanging out with friends. I use the gym nearly every day it is never too busy. I have made many friends via the social events hosted by BMY

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Walking distance to everything i need, city centre shops, 2 minutes to Bristol Temple Meads train station. Quiet area no antisocial behaviour

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I put up curtains in the bedroom, no issues. The staff helped me so do it properly!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I moved to Bristol on my own 18 months ago and now have many close friends in Box Makers Yard

everything is amazing about the design you feel like you at home and facilities especially that there is a gym and a private room to rent if you have visitors and it's safe i never felt that i need anything more.the property management was very helpful and professional

there's nothing bad about living in box makers yard and the staff was like a family especially for Hayly and James

They are very professional and the issue doesn't take long time for them to do it.

We loved living at Box Makers for 2.5 years and only left because we wanted to buy our own property! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for an easy, convenient flat in the city centre. Also pet friendly! Facilities/management - The gym in the building was incredible and open 24/7 so we used this all the time. The foh staff were always helpful often held social events for us and the 24/7 parcel room was really useful for deliveries when we weren’t at home. The communal area was perfect for us to study/work when we wanted more space and Mykoko is open later than most cafes which is really convenient.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location/travel - Amazing for commuting to Bristol city centre. Quick walk to the train station, local cafes and very convenient having a Sainsbury’s in the building. However very long waiting list for a parking space and expensive so would recommend not having a car as public transport is so easy. Not much green space in the local area but would recommend a quick walk to castle park, a train to Bath or a bus to the Clifton downs for some fresh air! Noise - On the top floor we didn’t experience any traffic/construction noise at all and loved how quiet the flat was for wfh and couldn’t hear our neighbours at all. Quite a few homeless people on the streets outside the building but didn’t have any bad experiences with them personally. Views - Really really recommend the top floor flats facing North/East as the views were such a highlight for us (see pictures!)

Maintenance team responded quickly and fixed any issues easily.

You don’t need a car as the location is so central and parking is limited and expensive.

Right from enquiry to move in, the customer service and support has been exceptional. The staff are so friendly and helpful, responding promptly to all needs. The development is a really safe, well located and looked after place to live, the apartments and all the added extras just what I was looking for and great value for money. The communal spaces are ideal, whether it be working from home and somewhere different to my apartment, or having friends over and utilising indoor or outdoor areas, something for all occasions. If I have any issues, there is a 24/7 front desk or the portal, and things are quickly resolved. The post room is also fantastic, especially when moving in and starting to make your place a home with items being delivered.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a good Sainsbury’s close by that has a good selection of things, larger supermarkets like Tesco, larger Sainsburys and Asda not far either. Really central and walking distance for getting to a selection of bars, restaurants, and the station. Also have Castle Park and Harbourside close by. Parking is limited and quite expensive for onsite but you can at times get parking outside the building (paid/unpaid). A larger long stay car park also just across the way. Noise is not an issue at all for me however 10th floor.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Dealt with promptly - only had one minor issue to do with furniture that I had not spotted at move in and inspection stages.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Making clear the cost of parking but this is very minor and once asked it was clear. It could be this was included in documentation and my oversight. Another nice addition might be a little brochure on local amenities for those really new to the city and area…more of a nice touch as can all be found on google!

Fairly new building with a nice design, a lovely place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. Michal in particular will literally solve every issue you have for the apartment!! Been staying with Box Makers Yard for 3 years, and the one and only problem I found annoying is the bin chute barely works, other than that, I will absolutely recommend this place ;)

Very convenient location with a grocery shop and cafe right downstairs. Walking distance to the city centre and train station.

In general very quick response regarding the issues in the apartment.
