Great for schools, transport, gym, bars and restaurants. Perfect location for us as a young family. I would highly recommend!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Redrow have acted immediately on the few snagging issues we had when we first moved in. They were rectified with care and professionalism.

Nothing I can think of really. We are very happy so far.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Our house is situated next door to an established local park and within walking distance of the local high street. Garforth Main Street contains a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants and amenities. A bus route to destinations such as Leeds and Castleford runs past the entrance to the development. Anti-social behaviour is non-existent and the main road nearby has a very low speed limit with minimal noise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues raised by ourselves have been actioned promptly and efficiently with excellent communication throughout.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were surprised how efficient Redrow were at dealing with any issues we had and really appreciated all the things they were able to help with when it came to settling in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The development is a 10 minute walk to the nearest supermarkets and a 3 minute walk to the nearest pub. It’s a 15 minute walk in to the town centre and a 7 minute walk to the nearest train station. The location is very good and also close to motorway links. The street has a great variety of people that we have become very good friends with, we are a great community that is also a neighbourhood watch street. Parking can be an issue on the street on the odd occasion when there are events on at the field across the road but it isn’t a big issue because we all have private drives or parking areas. We cannot hear any traffic noise from the main road but there have been a couple of instances of anti social behaviour but it was sorted out quickly. I must point out this was around bonfire night so it wasn’t overly surprising with being in close proximity to a skate park and field where children congregate. Overall the area is great for families and commuters.

Yes they have been responded to extremely quickly and all issues have been resolved to our satisfaction.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we would have known about the gardens been so unlevel and wouldn’t be flat as they slope quite far down at the bottom of the garden which can collect rain water

Close to M1, bus stops at the end of the road, local park very close, pubs, shops and restaurants short walk away. Supermarkets close by. Friendly street with families and couples. No concerns to raise.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great and attractive location. Fantastic access to local transport services. Close to local amenities. The Redrow Sales Team is fantastic and couldn't be more accommodating. The Aftersales Team / Customer Services, is very different to the Sales Team. The home is beautiful and will make a fantastic family home however there has been issues. Redrow and its contractors often park in our parking bays, often taking up two spaces with their vans and trucks. This causes issues for us, family and friends cant park at our property when they visit. Redrow and its contractors have used our parking spaces to turn round or load / unload materials. This has resulted in our driveways being damaged, so much in fact it needs replacing / relaying. Rear gardens are a huge issue throughout the development site . Gardens often flood when it rains making the space unusable. Reported this to Redrow but was dismissed out of hand. An apparent specialist visited our property and inspected our garden and said there were no issues to rectify despite the garden being under 5 inches of water. Design of kitchens is really poor and needs rethinking. It wasn't until we moved in that we realised that that the kitchen plug sockets were so poorly laid out that we cant put out our appliances in appropriate places. Sockets are placed in areas / or not in areas you'd expect - not enough sockets either for an area you'd expect to have sufficient power supply. The patio area in the garden isn't big enough to host a table and chairs - the patio areas require additional flags laying down so people don't have to sit on the grassed area due to the doors opening out onto the flagged area. really poorly thought out. needs further thought as not practical at all.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The Property Management Company RMG tried to con every household on the development and were challenged for attempting to take money from residents that they weren't entitled to. We haven't seen the Property Management Company on site since we moved in 12 months ago.

Really poor standard of garden - floods making the area unusable where the children cant use their outdoor playing area. Really poor design elements in the kitchen - poorly designed, laid out and poor power supply facilities.
