There's a nice park near the development. It's in a great location as its close to public transports. There is also a local shop in the development.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I recently moved into Apo Barking development but the management team have being welcoming and helped make my move in on the day easier. Abbey was helpful, friendly and engaging.

Living at Apo Barking has been a really positive experience. The building is modern, calm, and feels like a peaceful escape from the busyness outside. Once you’re home, there’s a real sense of ease — and the rooftop terrace is a definite highlight, perfect for unwinding or catching some sun. The amenities overall are top-notch and make day-to-day living really comfortable. The local area can feel a little sketchy around the station at night, and there aren’t too many cool cafés or bars nearby yet. But the Women’s Museum adds a cultural and artistic touch to the neighbourhood, and Apo itself puts on great resident-only events, like kids’ Easter activities, which help create a sense of community and make it feel more like home. Overall, while the area is still developing, Apo stands out as a safe, stylish, and peaceful place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are friendly and professional although sometimes a little back and forth until issues are resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the area is a little sketchy around the station especially for women.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

i’ve always lived in barking and dagenham so the things that people highlight as bad (traffic, anti social behaviour, noise, river pollution etc) are things that i’ve always been around but the location is very well thought through, easy access to shops and the train station with multiple bus routes in between

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

it’s been slightly 50/50 with some things but overall even if the service hasn’t been great it’s been quick

you have to pay rent per pet and £150 per month for parking and the foyer door opens outwards so be careful. beautiful sunsets though

Living here has been a truly enjoyable experience. The neighborhood strikes a perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and community. Whether you’re raising a family, working from home, or just looking for a peaceful environment, this area offers something for everyone.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had a minor maintenance issue in my apartment and reached out to the management. To my surprise, they responded the same day and had someone out to fix it within 24 hours. It’s refreshing to see a management team that actually cares and follows through. Great job from mimi jake karmdeep andreja

Overall, I really enjoy living in my home and the neighbourhood has been wonderful quiet, safe, and close to everything I need. The management team has also been responsive and helpful kudos to the team mimi jake karmdeep andreja

Good: local shops and restaurants. There is open space where we can take our kids for play. The area is good.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They won’t respond to our problems and they are not friendly. They will just take pictures with us to showcase.
