The space is smartly designed with very welcoming shared spaces where you can socialize, watch a movie or WFH. Shared kitchens are clean and equipped with all the tools and equipment you need for those dinners in. Rooms offer smartly integrated storage.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s very conveniently located within a short walk to tube station and thameslink. There are a lot of grocery shops around and, of course, Finsbury park is right there and it is just perfect for that morning jog

Any issues raised to the management were addressed right away

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I do not have any insights. Everything in the property was exactly as described and presented by the management

A great place for newcomers to the UK

Gravity Finsbury Park is an excellent location with nice amenities and great opportunities to connect with your flatmates. Most rooms at this location are small but I'm happy with my room and the utilities included in the fee. The community events have been really enjoyable and have made it easier to make new friends. I have lived here for almost a year now and have appreciated Gravity's customer service and community events, and I love the local parks. The only issue I have had living here is occasional building maintenance. Fixes take a long time for both private and communal spaces, especially if they are fixes which require the building owner's approval. However, my experience overall is positive.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Finsbury Park has excellent transport links, amenities, and local parks. It's ideal for someone who commutes to the city centre or occasionally works from home. There's some anti-social behavior in the area, so being mindful of your surroundings is important, but if you take precautions it is a great place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had some small maintenance issues in my room which Gravity Co. solved in a reasonable amount of time. However, there are sometimes issues external to my room (laundry machines, security doors, and building facade issues) which seem to take much longer to solve than necessary. Gravity Co. seems to have trouble getting approval from the building owner to address some of these larger maintenance requests.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Gravity Finsbury Park is ideal for people who want to get to know their flatmates, so make sure you are connected via the Gravity App and try to be involved in occasional activities to make the most of living here. There is some anti-social activity in the neighbourhood, so ensure you are mindful of your surroundings and do what you can to help keep the building secure.

Great community, poor area, quality of property and the management aspects could be improved

The quality of some of the equipment could be improved, e.g. fairly cheap pallet furniture in the garden, which breaks, the washing machines are an ongoing saga as they regularly break - they really need to buy more industrial washing machines as these get used multiple times per day, cutlery and pots and pans are not great quality. I asked for basic items like a baking tray and they sent me a link to buy it myself on Amazon (lol), this should really be included with the property. We have a weekly cleaner, the standard of cleaning is not great, the kitchen surfaces I don't think are even cleaned and dirty plates are often put back in the cupboard (?!).

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is pretty rough, one of my housemates moved out after a few weeks, apparently because she didn't feel safe in the area. Pretty much all of my female housemates have been harassed by strangers in the area, i.e. coming from the station. There are also drug addicts, drunks and pickpockets. I wrote to the police airing my concerns and got no reply, I'm sure many areas of London are like this. You definitely can't go in the park at night. Random homeless(?) people go through the bins outside and occasionally are hanging around in the street annoying people.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Fairly swiftly, although sometimes ignoring concerns and then saying that it's not an issue and closing the ticket.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would be good for future tenants to know that the community is great. There are ~36 people and I would say that most people interact with us, but there are some people that don't communicate, it would be nice if everyone who lived here was part of the community.

Great place to live. Management needs work though

The buildings, rooms, and layouts are great! Management could be better. We had multiple issues that were never fixed. Also the houses were quite dirty when we first moved in with rust and mold in some places which even after we mentioned they didn’t do anything about.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lots of things around, especially grocery stores. Close to beautiful parks!! Can radially get to central locations

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have had some issues including the oven, and bathrooms, for some we never heard back for other we heard back immediately

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How dirty the flat was going to be and how much time we would need to clean it
