Good for living, even better for location

Building is modern, facilities are in good working order. Building is managed well, bins are picked up regularly, building feels safe. Washing machine in the flat is a big plus. Furniture is comfortable and modern. Flat comes with all the necessary facilities when moving in. Perfect for young adults. Property management - a delay with addressing issues of heating and water temperature. Otherwise, property is kept clean and managed fine.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location, peaceful area, lots of restaurants, bars, shops and even gyms nearby. However, can get noisy if living facing the street as is a busy street. But windows are thick and block out the sound.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Had issues with heating and cold water which are being addressed, but with a big delay.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known there’s no clothes dryer at the property. It Isn’t noisy within the flat, outside noise doesn’t enter the flat, noise is isolated.

Hi K! Thanks for leaving us your feedback! It's good to see that you are enjoying your apartment at our Royal Heights property in Reading. As a brand new building, there are unfortunately some issues that arise only when tenants move in and the property is operating at full capacity as it should be. We're sorry that your apartment has experienced issues with heating and water. We know these have now been resolved, but took a little longer than planned as specialist third party contractors were needed to help resolve the issue. If you have any further problems with this, please let us know and we'll work to resolve the issue as quickly as we can! Thanks

Lovely home !

The studios are lovely, they are almost like a one bedroom, very spacious for one person and layout is good. The apartment also comes with furnishing, so that’s very useful. Property is well managed and clean, sound proofing within each apartment is also very good !

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Royals Heights is at one of the best locations in Reading, very convenient and is just a 10 min walk to the city. There is a lovely river behind and a gym just 4 minutes away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, they are prompt on getting back, but sometimes require another visit

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

pricing which differs based on level in which the apartment is on.

Good looking affordable property at the centre of Reading which however needs to improve service quality

C Cha (Tenant)

Nov 2023

Design is quite nice especially when it comes to the interior design. Furnitures are good quality with modern product style. No special facilities in the building, not allwed to use the car park although it is empty wide. Utilitise and sercives are a little headache due to randum outage, operation team makes effort to resolve but there are just too many issues around the building.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Being in a walking distance to the city centre is good and makes up the inconvenience of not having nearby shops or stores. Easy to get to the tranaport hub as well.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Response itself was quick, but outcome/resolution is slow with shortage of in-house resource I guess

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

General instruction of how to use the building property and equipments inside the flat. Written manual is not enough.

H C Cha Thanks for your feedback! As a brand new development, we have had some teething problems around the property, but are happy to report that most of these have now been resolved. We unfortunately are not able to use the space behind the building for cars, however we do let our tenants know about local parking permits that can be applied for. On the back of your apartment door is a QR code that lists all the important information about your apartment - including instruction manuals for all appliances. If you are unable to find something in particular, please let our Operations team know so that we can help you find it or add it if it has been accidentally missed off. Please do let us know if we can help in any other way to improve your experience with us! Thanks again for your review.

New Modern Smart Flats in the Heart of the City Center

Sarah V (Tenant)

Verified Resident

Nov 2023

The best part of living in Gravity is the modern design of the flats, the smart appliances and how new and convenient everything is. Amazing natural lighting and ventilation. Building management is very friendly and responds to issues quickly. The only downside is the lack of parking, its very difficult to find permanent parking around the area.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location in the city center is amazing, all the shops and groceries are nearby as well as the train station. London Paddington is only 25 mins away. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. The only downside is the traffic noise and the lack of parking.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have a platform in which you can report any issues as well as an app. They respond quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No parking, having a lot or place to park in would make the experience better.

Hi Sarah V Thanks for your great review! It's really good to read that you are enjoying your experience with us at Gravity Co. We're sorry for the lack of parking near the property. As we are in such a central location, we know it's not easy to find parking nearby - unless parking in car parks. There are opportunities to secure permits for parking, but we know these spots are located a bit further from the property. Thanks again!
