Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great central location, close to shops, restaurants and the train station. The downside is lack of secure parking and building amenities.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It takes a really long time for problems to be addressed. Windows in a lot of the apartments don’t open and lifts are frequently not working which is hassle when coming in and out during peak times.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The outdoor rooftop is actually not accessible, there’s no furniture for you to lounge outdoors and given that the apartments don’t have balconies, this is frustrating. Parking spaces are also extremely limited.

Manager response

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we always appreciate feedback. We are working hard to ensure all the points you raise are addressed as soon as possible and have made some great progress on some of the things you, and others, have flagged such as sparkling new roof furniture which should be with us for summer. We are also super excited to be hosting our very first summer party, since taking over the management of the building in October. Keep your eyes peeled for the date real soon! If there is ever anything we can do in future, please pop and see a member of the team who are always happy to help.

Overall good place (but mind the non-negotiable utility bills and providers, lack of resident parking permit, and upper management)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very convenient for university or hospital workers. Fairly close to the city centre on foot. Not many buses nearby, it requires some walking.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The reception team has been very useful and nice. However, it is really difficult to negotiate things with the upper management (such as negotiating bills or protesting for the lack of residence parking permit for tenants).

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As mentioned before, the utilities pricing and providers are non-negotiable at all, and tenants cannot obtain a residence parking permit to park in the neighbourhood.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There’s plenty of accessibility to local shops such as Morrisons daily, Co-op with under a 5-10mins walking distance open until late. The city centre is a 15 mins walk away accessing supermarkets and all high street shops Leeds has to offer. The neighbourhood is quiet for a city central located apartment no disturbance from traffic or night life. Parking is readily available on site or street parking is also optional too outside the apartments very useful for visitors and over night parking. Plenty of bus stops in the local area accessible for all.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management are very professional and polite, they are willing to help you in any way they can without adding stress. Such as maintenance.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The tour provided by Alex was in depth and provided all I needed to know about the site

An apartment that combines the classical and the modern is fully equipped, has a beautiful environment, and is full of humanistic feelings.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This place is close to many colleges of the example university, such as the business and the Law School. Compared with other dormitories located at lower places in LS3, tenants here do not need to climb the staircase with many steps. Walking from the apartment to a convenience store takes only one minute to purchase daily necessities, food, and beverages and send parcels. If you go to a large supermarket, you can head east to the city center or west to the large business districts of Aldi and Asda, which is about a 20-minute walk.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Tenants can easily reach the front desk to receive support from the management team, such as checking for parcels, activating key permissions, and other needs. Sure, tenants can also send emails to them. I usually apply for maintenance of the apartment equipment on the official website. The next day, a worker will come to my place to repair it. It's very efficient.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The higher the floor, the better the view. Many of the tenants here are PhD students. If you are also a doctoral student, you are sure to make friends here.
