    The building has a terrace on the 6th floor with nice views. There are two safety doors which provide access through only the hob key. There is also a camera telecom which shows you who is at the door of the building. The building has two lifts though one never seems to work and the property mangement personnel is always changing. The doors of the garage do not work with the property msngement team take forever to fix them. We also had issues with homeless people accessing the bin area and some bikes being stolen. Also the rent has been increased by 20% which is more than the industry standard.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    The high street is 10 mins away with a easy access to entertainment shopping and big grocery stores like Asda , Aldi and Lidl. 10 mins to the neatest tube station with quick link to Central London and the airport. Though u live on the London road, the doors and the windows are sound proof and you do not hear the traffic noise. The bus stop is just adjacent to tbe property and provides quick access to Ealing broadway.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Had issues with the hob and the lights in the bathroom. Tbe hob was attended promptly but the lights in the bathroom were fixed only after two weeks.

    Overall decent management with regards to cleanliness. The cleaners come regularly and shampoo the carpet and clean the common areas. The windows are cleaned twice a year which keeps the building well maintained.

    The apartment is modern and well designed providing easy access to the public facilities. The apartments meets the requirements for any modern apartments. Most apartments are spacious, airy and well taken care off. The parking is quite accessible and safe.

    The.apartments is aituated a little away from the high street but yet in a relatively quite place. Access to the tube, local shops, parks is quite easy.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Professional, stepped up when the situation needed, rational in their response.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    The parking for visitors is something I didn't realise was unable though we got a work around by parking in public places around.

    The building itself is fine. Security is good with many layers of protection. We find that there are many carpet moths in the building and we have a leak that has not been fixed since it was reported 3 years ago. Foxes regularly got into the bin stores and caused a mess.

    The local area is the best thing about canons gate. So much good food in a small area and lots of stuff to do.

    Carpet moths and leak into flat. Other tenants would leave rubbish in the stairwell

    There is only 1 lift which would occasionally break down for days on end

    The building management replies swiftly and problems are dealt with professionally. The design of the building is great. It is modern and spacious. I would like the courtyard to have been given more thought - we have planters in the middle of the courtyard but they are full of bushes and weeds. The courtyard also has no lights for the summer evenings which would make it a more welcoming and inviting space.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    The location has many links to the city centre and harbourside area. There is no on street or underground parking available due to the central location of our block. The bins are collected regularly and the bin room is clean. The building is cleaned regularly and kept in good condition. The traffic noise is no bother due to thick windows and walls. There is very little noise from neighbours due to this. The traffic links are brilliant as we are less than a ten minute walk from the main train station. There is little sunlight into the flat since the development has been extended and there is a new tower block outside being built. This means it can get quite loud in the mornings due to works directly outside.

    Yes very swiftly and effectively, we have had good communication with the building management.

    Clean, secure, modern building in a great central location but tucked away from the noise! A place to call a home, where you can relax and not be bothered by inappropriate behaviours or noises. It's a place with quality flats and it's a well looked after development.

    Perfect central location, tucked away from the noise! Close to shops, train station, buses, restaurants, etc.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    I've not had any issues recently so cannot comment.

    I knew the place before moving in, so there were not suprises.
