A guide to living in Greater London

The quality of new developments is not as good as the original Olympic village houses - there are corners which are not 90degree, sockets which are not straight and vents that are not effective. But the communal heating is wasteful and residents pay for it - it is like a sauna in the corridors.

Top notch facilities including shared space and gym/office space and an entire floor dedicated to a private garden for dogs. Building management is very professional and get jobs done fast. Design is quiet sleek and up-to-date kitchenware and furniture

Development of the building is very good. Dog and family friendly, it’s has 3 outdoor space and good lounge area for gatherings and work. Good space for all the parcel and are kept safe. Got double security doors so it is safe. Good size balcony and rooms

Overall good design in the new development within my flat. However the only design issue I struggle with are the kitchen cupboards which are too high . The new terrace cafe and development of work spaces in Rodney House is well designed. A lot is still under construction but the swimming pool, gym, various health specialists are all very useful. Unfortunately the hairdresser has also closed The reception team are extremely helpful, kind and friendly. All of the support from Dolphin Square facilities, building and property management has also been invaluable I very much enjoy living here and feel very grateful for all the assistance that is available encouraging the wonderful Community spirit here

I've been living at Bloom Nine Elms for just over a month now, and honestly, it’s exceeded every expectation I had when I first moved in. From the moment I stepped into the building, I could tell this place was something special — not just another apartment complex, but a community designed with real care and attention to detail. Location-wise, it’s ideal. I work in central London and the commute is incredibly easy thanks to the new Northern Line extension – both Nine Elms and Battersea stations are just a short walk away. Plus, you’ve got the River Thames and Battersea Park practically on your doorstep, which is perfect for a morning jog or a quiet evening stroll. What really sets Bloom apart, though, are the amenities. The rooftop pools are incredible — yes, pools, plural — and the views over London are stunning, especially at sunset. There’s a sky bar where residents often gather on weekends, and the gym is better than some of the paid memberships I’ve had in the past. There’s even a pet spa, co-working lounges, and private dining rooms you can book for events. My apartment itself is beautifully finished. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in loads of natural light, and I’ve got a balcony that overlooks a the street facing the Thames. The kitchen is modern with high-end appliances (Smeg throughout), and storage has been really thoughtfully designed — which is often rare in London flats. One of the things I’ve appreciated most is the staff. The concierge team are genuinely friendly and helpful — I’ve had packages delivered without a hitch, and they’ve gone above and beyond during the few minor issues I’ve had. Shoutout to Abdo for making move-in day so seamless! Overall, living at Bloom Nine Elms feels like having your own little sanctuary in the middle of the city. It’s stylish, it’s functional, and it feels like home. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a well-managed, comfortable, and community-focused place to live in London.
