Loving my move to London because of Bale & Anchor!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The convenience of living right next to Lewisham station is unmatched. I thought I’d be too far away from Central but it takes about 15 minutes to get to London Bridge which is amazing. The Tesco beside our building is perfect because it has everything you could need. I think we need more local bars and restaurants but I’ve enjoyed what we have so far and we’re not too far from Deptford and Greenwich where there’s a ton to do.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has been incredible. Super responsive and helpful. I want to reiterate that Junior is a great member of the team. Very helpful, professional and kind.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew there was no air conditioning. I am used to being a bit cooler in my space.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great area in general. Tons of shops and restaurants. Right on the river. Not really any parking, as expected but safe and clean. Lots of building and traffic noise as usual.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintenance is good. Any other questions are very frustrating. Staff have been extremely rude on occasion. Rarely reply to emails and when they do they are incorrect on things like finance.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Probably wouldn’t recommend. Nice to have a pool but way over priced for the service.

Modern Comfort with a Personal Touch

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in the Fizzy Rathbone Market area has been a generally positive experience. One of the standout advantages is the excellent connectivity – with Canning Town Station just a short walk away, commuting into Central London or Canary Wharf is quick and convenient. The area also benefits from a variety of local amenities including supermarkets, takeaways, and a growing selection of cafés and independent shops that add to the community feel. The development itself feels secure and well-maintained, and there’s a good mix of residents which brings a sense of diversity and vibrancy to the neighbourhood. It’s also great to see continuous regeneration in and around Rathbone Market which is improving the overall appeal of the area. Overall, it’s a practical and well-connected place to live, especially for young professionals and families.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been responsive and helpful whenever any issues have come up. Minor problems like lighting, plumbing, or furniture-related repairs have been handled promptly — thanks in large part to Paul, who is incredibly skilled and reliable. He often goes above and beyond to ensure things are fixed quickly and properly, which really makes a difference in daily living. The communication from the management team is generally clear, and they’ve been approachable whenever assistance is needed. Having such dependable support on-site brings real peace of mind.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is just how much care and attention goes into the building’s maintenance and day-to-day operations. It really adds to the sense of ease and comfort when you live here. Another pleasant surprise was the first-floor garden space — it’s a peaceful, green retreat that’s perfect for taking a break, reading a book, or enjoying some fresh air. For new neighbours, I’d also suggest making use of the parcel locker system and getting to know the on-site team early — they’re friendly, helpful, and make settling in feel seamless. It’s small touches like these that turn a modern flat into a real home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good location that allows easy access to commute, parks, malls etc. Noise and dust from trains might be a negative aspect to keep in mind.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always very responsive and kind, helping to resolve any issues or questions!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The noise and dust from the trains might be worth keeping in mind. During summer, it might be difficult to balance between having the doors open (to keep the apartment cool) and the noise/dust from the trains.
