Walking distance to the city centre. Close to Ancoats which has nice bars and restaurants. 5 minutes away from Piccadilly station. 2 minutes away from New Islington tram stop.

X1 don’t provide very good consumer service.

Hire a concierge to make the place safer and create better parcel security.

Eastbank tower is walking distance from the city centre which is perfect for walking to work in the city. The downside is that the property is also close by to where a lot of drug users and prostitutes hang around. The building has some trouble with people sneaking into the building to do drugs in the car park. As a result the surrounding area does have a lot of discarded drugs and condoms which doesn’t make the area feel very safe. The building has a fantastic security team that ensures all residents are safe.

I wish I had known how hot it is in the south facing apartments, I have a pet and this apartment is not suitable for pets due to the heat in summer due to only 1 window opening around 3 inches wide.

The management team have been great resolving issues with the drug users around the area and are very quick to fix any maintenance issues.

The area is still up-and-coming so there are not many shops and restaurants right on the doorstep but it is only a 10 min walk along the canal from Ancoats, or into town.

How warm the south facing flats get in the summer.

Better maintenance across the building, and quick response from management.

Short walk to Ancoats and the Northern Quarter as well as Piccadilly station - really good location

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Generally easy to contact, although sometimes make promises that aren’t fulfilled - eg a safe deposit for packages in the lobby

Can smell smoke from smokers on nearby balconies sometimes

The apartment block is walking distance from everything you need, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, public transport, green space. The perfect location!

The building management service is very poor which has slightly tarnished my stay here. I am unable to fix issues I have due to lack of response and care from the staff.
