Upscale apartments adjacent to Westfield

Lincoln Apartments has a wide selection of flats. Since the downstairs is the Woodlane tube station, the southeast facing apartment will be a little noisy, and the doors and Windows need to be closed for sleeping. The appliances in the apartment are very good. For me, the kitchen’s counters are a little high, the refrigerator’s freezer room is a little small, and I live in a flat with a smaller kitchen, so there isn’t enough storage space. The management of the building and the property is satisfactory, but I prefer to have a mailbox for each flat at the concierge rather than a mail slot in the door. Sometimes it’s a shock when a letter comes in suddenly. At present, except for a small garden, there are no other public facilities available, such as gym, club, swimming pool, etc., which I look forward to open soon. I choose this place because I think it will have good supporting facilities.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Close to two tube stations, White City and Wood Lane, and several bus stops, the transportation is very convenient. It is adjacen to Westfield, the largest shopping centre in Europe, it is extremely convenient for shopping and dining. But the big parks are a bit far away, and apart from Westfield, the surrounding street environment is not very good.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The hardness of domestic water in this area from the supplier.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Replace the carpet in the two bedrooms with wood floors.

WHITE CITY W12 TENANT REVIEW

Review Date Jan 2021

Majority of the exterior designs of the buildings are white and plain, however these often appear formal and are a beautiful sight at night due to the lights. The interior design aim for a more a professional look, and are suitable for both children and adults. Landlords and staff respond to problems (such as Electricity, Water and Heating) quickly and usually take less than a week to resolve the issues.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is surrounded by a lot of plants and trees, so you’re never too far from nature. However, there’s an issue with littering and pollution but the area has been trying to reduce this problem. It’s usually not too loud during the day and fairly peaceful during the night. It can be quite loud in the morning especially at rush hour. The people in the neighbourhood and area aren’t disruptive, and there are only a few rare cases of any criminal activity. There are a variety of choices of stores to shop at, including retail and grocery.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Before I had moved in, I wish I knew about how noisy and packed streets are in the morning.

Nice area, close to city centre

Review Date Dec 2020

Building and property management are efficient, prompt and friendly. Both have given valuable guidance and are quick to respond. Design fits very well with the rest of London, the mixture of old and modern buildings give a unique look of the area. As someone who recently moved to the area, I haven’t yet had any issues with facilities.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great transportation, many buses, tubes and trains to get to the city centre quickly. Wide variety of restaurants and local shops. Huge Westfield shopping centre is walking distance.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

While the Central line is very close and convenient to get to the city centre, but it is almost always extremely crowded.

What is the best feature of your home:

Nice views, quiet street, conveniently close to stores and public transport.

White city living – the good

Review Date Jan 2021

The development is amazing. The design and facilities that it offers is like nothing else in the city.
Outstanding facilities including pool, gym & cinemas
Excellent transport links just 12 minutes to Bond Street
Next door to Westfield London and Imperial College London

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Alot of local amenities around especially with Westfield nearby

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The bills. I didn’t realise the bills would add so much to the rent

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I wish the rooms were a bit bigger and cheaper rent but that’s with anywhere in London.

Amazing Development

Review Date Nov 2020

It brought some energy to the area and made it look nicer for the people who dont live around. I think these kind of developments increase the value of the whole area therefore current neighbours should feel lucky. Once the area’s value increases then better educated people comes around and make the area safer.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It is nice as the area is sociable and close the chain places.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think I have what I expected so I dont really have anything to say.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Well, whenever I needed help there was someone to assist.

The location is as we wanted and the build quality is as expected. There are a few design issues that maybe look good but don’t quite work, for example the sink in the second bathroom is under a mirrored cupboard and impossible to get your head over , totally impractical. The glass outside is impossible to clean even with a robot as there is another glass panel there, looks good until it gets dirty.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Two underground lines, major shopping centre, 500m from the A40 so perfect.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We are south facing so get noise from the railway, other directions may be better

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, had a couple of issues and both sorted out within 24 hours
