Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The range of shops under the flat services such as post office optitian pharmacy library town centre markers events and Asda. Bus transport walking distance and team station not so far.. Not many restaurants nearby only cafes. Free parking on Sundays at the story car park for visitors. Good amount of GP practices. Bin collections are good and clean, I hardly see litter in the town centre. There's a lot if anti social behaviour during the night and going past the Hatfield club for members only expect a racist comment here and there when you go past.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
BAD monthly cost of the Nilan unit and not having control of how much electricity’s used due to this. It was promoted so well but not worth it as a single person it’s very costly having a nilan unit. The shower head cannot come off as it’s attached to the tap, so it’s tricky to clean the tub takes a very long time need to get water in a kettle to clean as the shower head cannot reach half the tub. The amount of moss that grows on the balcony walls. GOOD Local shopping centre walking distance has beauty salons there restaurants cinema and outlet stores. Train station waking distance.
What is the best feature of your home:
The electric items such as the oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge is massive compared to normal homes I’ve viewed also Iv noticed my food items stay fresher for longer in the fridge at my home compared to others.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in AL10 0FR has its pros and cons. There’s good access to local shops, supermarkets like Asda and Galleria retail outlets, and some nice cafes and restaurants around town and in the nearby university area. For bigger shopping trips, St Albans and Welwyn Garden City are close by. There are plenty of open green spaces nearby, like Hatfield Park and Ellenbrook Fields, which are great for walks and family time. Transport links are convenient – Hatfield train station offers direct trains to London in under 30 minutes, and local buses run regularly. However, traffic on the A1(M) during rush hour can be heavy. Our street is generally quiet, but parking can be limited, especially in the evenings. Bin collections are reliable, and anti-social behaviour is rare, though student noise can be an issue at certain times of the year. Overall, it’s a convenient place to live with a decent balance between town and green space.

We knew most things but we always felt the service charge was way too high
What is the best feature of your home:
The best feature of our home is the spacious open-plan living area, which gets plenty of natural light and feels very welcoming.
