The location is excellent. 1 min away from St Davids Shopping Centre. All the shops are close and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Cardiff central train station is close as well. Not much parking available on the street nearby but lots of spaces at St Davids Parking lot

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Really well. Really helpful and get things sorted quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Staff are always organising events for the residents to engage in and socialise with each other.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is located in the city center and its near to the central and queen street station. However, roadworks seem to be happening once every two weeks it can get annoying

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They responded quickly and aim to solve the problem as soon as possible.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My window could only open up to half way and which I thought that is the case for every other unit. But that is not the case so I can sometimes have some airflow issues.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Close to work, bus and train station. Close to supermarkets and other consume places. No issues with transportation and noise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Did not have any issues, but the reception and manager were accommodating with the moving in.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew the sun orientation, I would probably have gotten a flat with a little bit more sun exposure.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are many good aspects of living in Verse Apartments in Cardiff. The building is located in the heart of Cardiff city centre. There are a variety of local shops, restaurants and bars just a two minute walk away to the high street. Cardiff market is nearby and is good to shop in to support local fruit & veg stalls, fresh fish stalls, butchers, florists and lots more. The St. David’s Centre is located just across the road from Verse apartments and has every store from fashion, toys, jewellers, food court etc. A 10-15 minute walk away from Verse is Cardiff’s scenic Bute park, an open space to get fresh air, have a picnic or walk a dog. Transport links around the area where Verse is located is very good. Busses are regular from the street just across the building and the nearest train station is Queen Street station which is only a very short walk away. The street outside the Verse building has limited parking as it is quite small. I have never experienced a problem with the bin collection since I have been living here. Anti-social behaviour & traffic noise heighten at night on the weekend but that’s to be expected when living in the city centre of a popular capital city. This is one of the bad aspects of living at Verse sometimes along with construction noise from time to time.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Small repairs here and there were raised and resolved extremely quickly. The building management really take the time to listen and understand any concerns that residents may have. There have been no problems or issues recently with the studio apartment that I live in.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Viewings for Verse were initially conducted over video as the building was not ready for in person viewings. Upon moving in, the studio that myself and my partner were given was not the correct studio apartment shown on the digital viewing. After explaining this, the property manager quickly resolved this error for us and

Great transport link and very attentive staff. It's always very quiet in the area and there's plenty of shops.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded quickly and effectively to all issues.

I wish we had known that we could book out the communal kitchen.
