Perfect accommodation

Wonderful place to live, clean modern and great value for money. The gym is adequate for a light session, pool table and other amenities are nice to have at your disposal 247. Property management is effective with a couple call outs being handled efficency with no fuss. Really enjoying living here so far !

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great location – close to town, Quay etc. Bus links right outside. Supermarket next door super convenient. Street is noisy unfortunately but that can’t be helped. No parking available which is fine and don’t drive.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Price of laundry is a little steep. Would have loved to get a top floor apartment to be further from the noise of the road.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly and effectively. It’s easy to log and helpful with the comms about what time etc.

New accommodation with brilliant location and facilities

The design of the building is modern and attractive. The room is small but aesthetic and minimal with all the thing you need. However, the common area in the mezzanine is not ideal for a quiet working space because the noise from the reception and the front door cannot be isolated. Overall, all the facilities are good.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It is located in the city centre which is super convenient to get anything. Cardiff Central train station is just 15 mins walk and 5 mins walk for the Queen Street station. It is perfect!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is only one window in my room but I did not know it before I moved in because my virtual viewing is in a showroom which have two windows. It is worth to ask for a floor plan or so if you don’t get a chance to view the exact room you want to rent.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Whenever I have a problem, I go down to the reception and they will answer to my problem right away.

Very modern and elegant.

The design at Verse is very modern and elegant. This is a new build apartment complex and it stands out from all of the other buildings on Charles street as it has a unique shape and a beautiful gold exterior to one part of its design. The interior design from the choice of colour to the furnishings look as if they were inspired by the simple yet practical way of living from Scandinavian countries which I personally love the look of. The facilities at Verse are limitless. Social kitchen, lounge, study area, gym, bike storage and an outdoor area on the 5th floor are some of the facilities offered here. The maintenance employees, overnight security, cleaners, building & property management are all so lovely and helpful.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There are many good aspects of living in Verse Apartments in Cardiff. The building is located in the heart of Cardiff city centre. There are a variety of local shops, restaurants and bars just a two minute walk away to the high street. Cardiff market is nearby and is good to shop in to support local fruit & veg stalls, fresh fish stalls, butchers, florists and lots more. The St. David’s Centre is located just across the road from Verse apartments and has every store from fashion, toys, jewellers, food court etc. A 10-15 minute walk away from Verse is Cardiff’s scenic Bute park, an open space to get fresh air, have a picnic or walk a dog. Transport links around the area where Verse is located is very good. Busses are regular from the street just across the building and the nearest train station is Queen Street station which is only a very short walk away. The street outside the Verse building has limited parking as it is quite small. I have never experienced a problem with the bin collection since I have been living here. Anti-social behaviour & traffic noise heighten at night on the weekend but that’s to be expected when living in the city centre of a popular capital city. This is one of the bad aspects of living at Verse sometimes along with construction noise from time to time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Viewings for Verse were initially conducted over video as the building was not ready for in person viewings. Upon moving in, the studio that myself and my partner were given was not the correct studio apartment shown on the digital viewing. After explaining this, the property manager quickly resolved this error for us and

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Small repairs here and there were raised and resolved extremely quickly. The building management really take the time to listen and understand any concerns that residents may have. There have been no problems or issues recently with the studio apartment that I live in.
