Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is a great place to live, with a really good variety of shops, restaurants and cafés nearby. Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre is particularly convenient, with plenty of shops and a large Tesco with very convenient opening hours, so it is easy to find everything you need locally. Transport links are also excellent: Ealing Common station is around a 5-minute walk away, while Ealing Broadway is about 12 minutes on foot, with a wide range of bus connections and the Elizabeth line providing quick access to Central London. The street itself is generally quiet, and the building is very well insulated and soundproofed, so noise from neighbours and traffic is barely noticeable. The area feels mostly safe, although there can occasionally be some antisocial behaviour around Ealing Broadway station in the evenings or at night.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management team is generally helpful, but responses to some maintenance issues could be faster. For example, when the main front door was broken, it remained unlocked for over a month, which was concerning from a security perspective. One of the washing machines was also out of service for more than three months before being repaired.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known just how convenient the area is, with such a great range of shops, restaurants and services nearby, as well as excellent transport links. The area itself is also very pleasant. On the other hand, I would have liked to have a clearer idea of the studio’s actual size before moving in, as the space is quite compact. The additional cost of using the washing machines is also somewhat excessive and worth being aware of beforehand.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ealing, overall is an incredible area, has everything that needed, plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and anything else really. However, building is located slightly further from Broadway which is my main station option. Also it’s located on busy Hanger Lane which is a very noisy road with heavy traffic at most of times.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quickly and efficiently with everything being sorted asap

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When bed is out it’s impossible to have a table set up as it needs to be attached to the wall. As a result, I eat most of my time in bed when home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

One of the advantages of living on Hanger Lane is the availability of multiple tube lines: Ealing Broadway station is a 10/15 minutes walk, which is quite enjoyable along Madeley Road especially in the warmer season, otherwise there’s also the Piccadilly Line after a shorter walk (5mins). There’s everything one needs on the Broadway, where I can find multiple groceries stores but also clothing shops, bookshops and a good amount of food/drinks businesses, usually not too busy so you can avoid travelling to Central London on days off. The building is located next to a busy road, but well isolated to block the noise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management had always tried to promptly solve every issued that came up over the last year. I also acknowledge there are many flats to manage and every tenant might have different requests, so I think they do their best to still maintain high standards and offer a very good service to us

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There isn’t a specific thing. My experience has been very good tho because I’ve lived on the higher floors, but having viewed also apartments on the lower ones, I would recommend to go for the higher ones because they are worth it, getting more sunlight and enjoying a nice view.
