Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living at The Market you feel like you’re in the central of Brighton! The beach is close by, Laines and North Laines, lots of colorful restaurants, gyms, nature. Best of all, the train station is a mere 10-15min walk away!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Most of our problems get solved quite quickly, a few have unfortunately persisted and required us to reach out a couple of times.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The massive windows are great! If you like a bright home these are the apartments to go for! It never feels stuffy or claustrophobic.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is fantastic - five minutes from the seafront and the lanes, as well as 15 from the train station. The apartments are very nice, albeit small. The area itself is nice, however it is on the end of town which can occasionally see some antisocial behaviour, albeit the apartments are tucked away so this isn’t really a problem
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Generally been very fast and responsive, other than we are still waiting for compensation due to Lack of heating for a month
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
If you’re taking a top floor apartment, be conscious that in the winter the underfloor heating can be expensive

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s in the centre of brighton so has access to all the major shops restaurants and bars. Seafront is 5 mins away. Open park spaces are available. There are bus and train links. Underground car park is available to some tenants. Bin collections are great. Sometimes there are drug users taking drugs around the vicinity. The building is very insulated from traffic noise and we don’t notice any noise unless we have windows open and it’s a weekend night as there are many students around this area.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
With a 2 year ongoing legal dispute. They usually put you through to a line and they have a habit of passing the issue around each other and not resolving things.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Wouldn’t have access to facilities, service charge can be increased infinitely.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Very local location, 10 mins walk to the beach and also fairly similar walk to central town and main train station
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Not really. Still lots of questions that have not been answered
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the service charge would be this much. They told us we would have access to gym and communal areas but turns out we don’t
