Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lots of facilities around with a Asda superstore five minutes away 15 minutes to the High Street with lots of parks and recreation facilities such as gyms, restaurants and supermarkets nearby with the high-quality windows. You don’t hear the noises from outside.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When I have raised issues in the building, they are rectified within one week of notification to my satisfaction

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The nearest train station is 20 minutes walk away and there is a lack of public transport that services the area.

Clean, Secure, and Stylish: Living the Way of Life

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area has been a great experience overall. The transport network is excellent if you drive — roads are well-connected and there’s a bus stop right outside the building for those who use public transport. Although I don’t rely on buses or trains, it’s reassuring to know the railway station is just a 20-minute walk away. Local shops are convenient and most offer delivery, which is ideal because parking in town can be quite difficult. If you drive a low car like a sports model, some of the local roads aren’t the best, but the immediate area around the building is clean, well-maintained, and pleasant to walk through as well as drive around. There’s no anti-social behaviour, and the community is made up of working professionals, students, and young families. Bin collections are reliable, and the facilities are well-managed — including plenty of dog waste bins, which is great for pet owners. Being close to the dockside means there are lovely open spaces nearby, perfect for walks and fresh air. Overall, it’s a peaceful and practical place to live with a good balance of convenience and community.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Promptly, swiftly, and with follow ups to make sure that everything was completed to satisfaction.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew that the free wifi was limited to 20 MB of data (something unusable practically, but is legal to advertise as "free wifi") and that inside the building you cannot use a mobile dongle or mobile data as the building materials restrict data signals unless you go on the balcony or any exterior part of the building.

Manager response

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We moved to The Kell to enjoy life, which is what we do. We’re convenient for shops, restaurants and the M25/M2/trains for travel. The area is bearably quiet, with a good pub and park within walking distance.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Issues have been few, but those we’ve had have been minor and dealt with quickly and thoroughly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If you’re taking a parking space, check the location before taking it. The parking lot is underneath the buildings, easily accessible and secure, but some spaces are less suitable for those with children/disabilities.
