Wonderful area and excellent park nearby with a community green on the front. The roads a little narrow and could do with allocated areas for visitors to park. This seems a common theme in new developments with in depth planning and tight and narrow bends

We’re really happy with the design of our property. It’s a shame that design wasn’t implemented throughout the entire site and not just the plots on the front of the site. The design is also repeated up and down the country.

You get 2 weeks from the developer to report an issues. Half of them they claimed we should have informed them of whilst we had two moving vans on the driveway, the other issues they ignore and hope go away on there own.
What is the best feature of your home:
Glad to have finally settled in and made it our own home.
Odour Concerns
The small plot size is a major drawback, its crowded and neighbouring properties overshadow ours. Proximity to a passageway, with constant foot traffic passing by the house. Additionally, neighbour’s parking on the road instead of using their own driveways have been a problem for some.

The smell from the dog waste bin and drains during the summer is a recurring issue that affects the overall ambiance near my property. The odour permeating through the lounge window is particularly unpleasant.

Purchasing a property closer to the entrance of the development earlier in the build phrase. Most of the properties had sold near the front.
What is the best feature of your home:
One of the best features of my residence is that the front door faces away from the entrances of other residents. This design provides better privacy and a peaceful entry into are home without being directly confronted by the activities of neighbouring residents, except for the park footpath and bins which could have been placed further away from our house.
Village green design
The development has been designed to look like a village green with no cars to the front of the properties and outlook onto a green space. The outside space is maintained every four weeks and it is done to a high standard. There are climbing frames and bridges for children to play on.

There are some lovely local amenities in Coven including a great farm shop, a cafe and three pubs. There is a newly refurbished pub a short walk from the development and a children’s park at the end of the road. There’s also two dog walk parks nearby with riverside and forest views.

The sunsets over the fields are spectacular and the views are stunning.
What is the best feature of your home:
The house has been designed to work for family life.

Few issues but still a nice place to live
A few things have gone wrong since the last review, the back door hinges are consistently coming loose and lots of plaster issues (expected but lovells delayed fixing them to be outside the 2 year warranty). Gates outside also feel like they have been cheaply purchased.

Local shops and pub all still a great asset, parking on the street has become an issue more recently. People seem to be preferring to park on the road rather than their allocated spaces which causes a bit of a problem. Some noise from the ‘street racers’ on the a449. On – going issue but the police are involved.

The parking is an issue, getting out of the estate onto the main road can be difficult with people speeding.
What is the best feature of your home:
Room size, i live in a two bed house and all rooms are as big if not bigger than the 3 bed houses.
Good
Good quality build, no issues with the property since moving in, property management easy and convenient good all round estate with beautiful views of countryside and easy access to all amenities locally. Good access to motorway links and local transport.

Beautiful views, local schools, shops, restaurants and pubs. Quiet estate and local park just opposite.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
No issues with any of the above everything was good
What is the best feature of your home:
Location and how quiet the estate is and access to local amenities.
Lovell don’t care for buyers, not after the 2nd week.
Hopeless developer, Lovell. They couldn’t care less after the 2 week period. They pass you though to customer care (aka, head office) who do nothing, never reply, and even refuse to attend meeting with NHBC.
NHBC get problems solved. Lovell couldn’t care less.

Good community, lovely village lacks but lacks enough parking bays for home owners of two bed homes with 3 cars.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
To submit every issues in the first few days. Inspect the whole house before signing the hand over. Heck, refuse to sign the form until you’ve fully inspected the property, because Lovell will claim it wasn’t they’re 24 hrs before.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They didn’t. NHBC came along and fixed them. Lovell didn’t both to turn up to meeting set up by NHBC and the NHBC ruled against them.
Lovely homes
Lovell have created multiple properties with different designs. We have had a few snags and they have always been rectified within a timely manner from the aftercare team.
I like the design of all properties- they have a lovely exterior. The interior of our property is very spacious and well designed.

Close to local shops and the playing field. I like the estate because it isn’t overcrowded with several homes. Although close to the dual carriageway, the area is very quiet! I am not aware of any issues with public transport.

Nothing! Satisfied with the area, property and design!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes after care team have rectified any snags and management team have been great.
The design of the houses are great overall.
The design of the houses are great overall. Keeping the old fashion in this day. The overall site was brilliant and we was informed of everything happening and going on. I like how the design of the houses are and how they’re is only a small amount of houses build here

How the landscapers are going to look after the green area
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The customer care team are very good and come out with short notice
Very happy however the entrance and exit to the estate is chaos.
Overall the development is great and I’m proud of the area we live in. I’m pleased with the quality of the build and the customer experience received during the build and sales process. The entry road has however been narrowed with a chicane which has disgruntled every resident on the estate and the exit road of the estate is almost impossible to eagerly pull out. Hopefully this will be resolved we were informed there would be private site maintenance however we’ve not heard much about this since moving in 8 months ago.

The area itself is lovely and the new build development gave us an opportunity to move to the area. There are some nice local shops and a pleasant community spirit.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish we would have known about the chicane that was going to be created at the entrance to the estate. This appeared at the very last minute and is impacting residents significantly on a daily basis.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
This response to snags has left a lot to be desired unfortunately and the after sales team have blamed covid for failing to respond to faults for months on the basis that team members are working from home. We have outstanding faults since moving in 8 months ago.
Beautiful views and lots of family amenities
The development has been designed to look like a village green so the parking spaces are at the rear of the garages not in front of them. This took a while to get used to but it does mean that development has a rural look. There has been a lot of attention to detail in the design of the houses, more so than other new build developments that we have seen. The style and design are excellent with lots of extra details such as outside lights, stone window ledges and landscaped front gardens. We love having a little path to our front door.

We feel we have the best of both worlds as there are no noisy roads near the property yet we are only a couple of minutes from all the main transport links in the area. There are lovely rural views from our property, we look out on beautiful sunsets over Brewood church and cows in the field. We enjoy a daily evening walk around the landscaped area that Lovell have created, up to Coven park with the kids. We are really pleased with how much green space Lovell created and planted lots of trees and plants too. There is a lovely family pub within walking distance with an outdoor play area for the kids. The shops are about a 10 to 15 minute walk away but there is a co-op, a chemist, fish and chip shop, post office, cafe, butchers, florist, fruit and veg shop and hairdressers. My children’s school buses stop very close to the development and this has worked out really well as don’t have to do the school run anymore.

It’s tricky moving onto a new building site with roads being laid and diggers and grounds workers everywhere. I’d prefer to miss that stage and move in when it’s all over!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We had no major issues or problems with the building but little niggles were dealt with quite quickly. Lovell staff on site were friendly and helpful throughout.
